Fun game! Although it wasn't clear at first where I was supposed to place the flowers. I thought the blue things were just random obstacles. Maybe you should update the instructions to make it clearer.

Are all the levels solvable or am I retarded?

Really nice! Quite tough, but just the right level of puzzle challenge for me. The mechanics weren't immediately obvious (I'm still not 100% sure what some elements represent in the world), but it didn't take long to figure them out through experimentation (which is exactly how I like my puzzle games, so I'm counting that as a point in the game's favour).

The mechanic is clever and a simple idea that I've not seen before. The game's relevance to the theme wasn't immediately obvious, but it became clear once I started getting stuck into the real levels (so to speak).

The visuals are quite pleasant, and the audio did its job well. Overall a very fun game, I'll be recommending it to other puzzle gamers!

@zenithstar All levels are solvable. The last 2 can be a bit harder

@zerbu Thanks, I added a bit more of description to make it clear to place the flower near waters. This might help

@tjm Thanks, getting the difficult right is quite hard with so little time to playtest

Great game, the last few puzzles where you had to place some flowers in advance were especially fun. I also really liked the sound effects (the gate sound in particular is quite satisfying).

Cool game, not sure what the roots/bloom is between the flowers, but it is a fun mechanic that opens up lots of puzzles in a small space. Good one

So awesome. I love the level design, how it ties to limited space theme, as someone who plays lots of puzzle games it was interesting to realize how the mechanic exactly worked (like that flowers adjacent to roots will sprout regardless of the root direction, a little unintuitive but makes sense after a while). I think the puzzle designs became very elegant, especially the last two levels. I feel like the mechanic doesn't outstay its welcome through the game either. Overall, awesome job

I don't usually enjoy puzzles, but Soffie's Tiny Garden grabbed my attention until the end.

Every puzzle had some trick you have to come up with in order to complete it. I like the way these mechanics are stacked. Especially the fact that the character can block the growth and it is required to complete some levels.

The in-game level editor is a rare thing to find in a compo game too. It's not that easy to use, but it's there. :D

The theme interpretation also fits well. You don't even have to spell the "SPACE IS LIMITED" in your game to make it obvious.

Extra points to make the web export of the game.

Some background music could make the overall feeling even better.

Nice sprite work and the puzzles made me think. Those flowers grow really fast! I made it to the end, though. GG!

Excellent puzzle design!

```XXXXPXXXX XXWX.XXXX XX...XXXX X....XXXX X........ X...X.... X.XXXX..W X.FF..... XF....... XXXXEXXXX 3 Seeds```
It was fun trying to come up with my own level and the levels in the game were well paced. Only wish there was a little bit of music, but not everyone has time for that. If you are interested in making music during jams, I recommend https://beepbox.co . Its standard setting are simple enough that you can just put a couple notes in, hit R to randomize the instrument til you get something you like and you are off to the races.
Heh. Enjoyed this little puzzler. Even though it was limited in space, it was not limited in brain power needed to solve this thing.
Very interesting and enjoyable idea of puzzle game, never seen something like this before! The last levels made me think about a solution. Graphics clear and cute, i think that pastel colors palette are more suitable here (these rapidly growing roots with noise sound... there is something frightening for me :smile:) Great job!
Hey good game, intriguing puzzles.
Really nice Compo entry! Puzzle games in LD make me always cringe a bit because balancing/testing always skews towards way too difficult or trivially easy (due to time constraints). However, I felt like you had a great escalation of difficulty over time. I thought each level built on the previous one. I don't quite understand the in-game lore of why the plant vines/roots block me and water seedlings, but I don't supposed that matters a whole lot. There is a lot in this 48-hour entry, and you should be really proud of this!
Great concept and good level design that teaches concepts one at a time and has plenty of little surprises and clever moments which is awesome. Most jam games have very iffy difficulty in puzzle progression (I made a puzzle game for a jam and it's by far the worst jam game I ever made lol) so it's awesome to see a simple mechanic executed so well.
Great work!
