That is a VERY respectable score, good job! My best so far: 520
I had an issue running the game after unzipping (windows), issue with opendll
Scored 340 after a few tries. Game's fun. Took a second to realize I could hold spacebar down to change the angle of the shot. Love the sound effects. Feel like it could use a time-limited mode or some moving targets to add to the hectic experience of launching ballz in a crowded parking lot, but its plenty fun on its own. Nice job
Well that was very silly. I liked it though! The a capella soundtrack definitely added to the janky vibe, which kind of made the absurd physics make more sense.
Can't start game, OpenAL32.dll was not found. (fixed it by downloading openal installer). I can listen to Tim cussing at me because I throw balls to his car ;)
I can't play the game.Open AL error.png The reverse sound keeps on going too. The sounds are hilarious.
had the same OpenAL issue, then noticed the download link in the readme :)
Just install the OpenAL redistributable (link found in readme.txt) if you have this issue, better than my game having a full-blown installer.
Nicely done. The audio/SFX made me laugh, it's excellent. Almost scored 300 after a few tries.
Nice game. Graphics are good, though the controls were a bit tricky (deliberately?) and the camera would occasionally glitch out, spinning madly around the car. The background "music" got annoying after a while. Good work.
. But that actually might be an interesting mechanic. For narrow and calm places turn in-game music down (car less bumpy), for challenging places like pits player should turn music louder to jump higher. But overall, the game has its funny moments and "public parking" irony.
One thing that confused me for a little while is that the camera does an almost instant 180 turn when we move backwards, I wish that camera turn were either bound to a key or not so instant because sometimes it was a bit disorientating (and the first time it happened I actually thought the car was going the other way 😅)
Yea camera was a bit rough on turn arounds.
