Cool, but I would like more ships :)

peacememories 2023-10-03 10:09

@alexander-mor I agree, but more ships take more time than we had

I didn't read the description and tough that I needed to bring out all part from the bottle. Cool game tough, the background image is really cool, as the music.

Nice thinking inside the bottle :P Really enjoyed the game! Well executed! Would love to see you expand it!

drunk-wizard 2023-10-03 17:20

I Love this! I agree with Alexander_Mor, I need more ships :) This is not a negative, I understand the time constraints and I think for LD game it is sufficient I really love this original idea and even the controls are pretty good, I had reasonable difficulty putting the ship together :) Only my last piece got stuck inside the ships collision, so I couldn't complete my big ship :( -> 0/10

Obviously joking, looking forward to what you do next :)

Very beautiful game. Cool art and music. And the idea is very interesting and 100 percent in line with the theme.

P.S: I don't have the web version working. Toward the end of loading the page hangs.

Really beautiful and cozy game. Great for just some laid back relaxation. I agree with the others that more ships would've been great but even as it is it's a great experience. Super creative and really fitting to the theme.

fivecyclops 2023-10-03 19:08

Great job ! The game is relax and stressfull at the same time.

Perfect for theme of the jam !

pikario 2023-10-04 16:14

Nice idea! Is there some kind of reward when finishing a ship ? I didn't have one and the box on the selection screen doesn't change

I liked the idea of having to take out some pieces to build the ship more easily

Cool visuals and great idea for theme

beeb-gamecodecompany 2023-10-07 19:49

Nice take on the theme, I would've like to seen some kind of "Congratulations" pop-up when finishing the boats, but other than that it did what it was intended to I believe. Relaxing and decent controls for working in such a confined space

hirnsalat 2023-10-08 09:16

thanks everyone for the nice comments! more ships would definitely be cool. we also had a list of funny congratulatory messages for finishing ships, but flat out didn't have time to implement them 🥲

really enjoyed playing this game. neat and clean. I loved the ability to push the ship's pieces out of the bottle and insert it back. This game really needs a good game cover-image so, that more will come to play this game. Oh just a info the linux build :penguin: directly opened the page which is just a binary data but not a big deal I just downloaded it by 'save link as..' option. Completed the second level here :smiling_imp: ship.png

Really fun and well executed concept, super frustrating but rewarding when you finally finish the ship. Great job!

jammygunns 2023-10-12 05:57

Had fun with this game and a clever use of the theme. Was a good challenge trying to figure out how the put the second ship together, ended up taking one piece out to do it. Would have loved more ships to do but with the time limit a jam gives you it is understandable there were only two well done ships instead of maybe 4 sub-par.

just-a-cat 2023-10-20 03:47

Really cool concept and super fun! The second boat was pretty challenging but it felt really satisfying to figure out where things went and put it all together!

bliny-lynx 2023-10-20 10:22

Cool idea. The component dragging is a bit frustrating, but not overly so, you let just the right amount of parts overlap. The assembled ship sparks joy.

I like that you can take parts out of the bottle.

Cute dithering on the background.

wiredoverload 2023-10-20 17:55

Fun game that fit the theme really well! My only issue were the occasional Gmod style physics collisions that at one point sent my whole ship through the bottle.ship.png
