Liked the entry, fits the theme well. graphics, sound design and gameplay are nice, loved the "dash" feature. got only to 30 seconds max, but still nice job!

nice art, atmosphere and game feel, the dashing mechanic feels really tight and responsive, colors work well together and the overall gameplay is fun!

Music's an absolute jam, controls feel tight and and game feels crunchy and responsive. I wasn't very good at it but kept retrying to chase better times. I couldn't stop just kept going back.

On that note my only feedback I have is I would have liked to be able to restart using my keyboard rather than having to click with my mouse. I'm pretty lazy and kept wanting to get back into it asap.

It took me some time to understand that you can control dash length, but then it totally makes sense so much I wonder why other games doesn’t do this like they do for jump.

I don’t know Godot but it looks like the debug builds have a lot of what can be considered bloat when you don’t debug.

Hi Erkberg! I think it is very impressive to come up with a simple idea that is a lot of fun, and this game was definitely that. It felt very satisfying to slowly learn what the length of the dash was and to get better at avoiding all those obstacles. The music is also really scifi-like and fitting, as expected from you of course :) I enjoyed this one quite a bit!

My highscore was 1:02 in the end ^_^

Intuitive to understand, fun and quite challenging. I like it!

Nicely done, especially with the limitations you were up against. I think it's a concept that could be explored more even.

Nice!!

This was fun! Quite difficult, but really enjoyable trying to beat my own high score. Took me a lot of effort to get to my final high score of 1 minute! I was hoping to beat some of the other scores on here but I guess I wasn't good enough. I think maybe I would have been better off with a controller.

I think for player feedback, it might have been useful to change the colour of the player while they are dashing. It was quite difficult to judge how long to dash for, and how long you were 'invulnerable'.

Game looks simple, but pretty, and the music and sound is really nice too. Very nice compo entry!

I like the gameplay! It's a great start fitting nicely in the theme. I did notice that the dash distance seems to vary? I had some trouble with this since sometimes dashing ends me a few pixels further, and sometimes I will clear half the map (ending in the orange box of death). Maybe a fixed distance works better, and you can fade out the player cube during this time, indicating invincibility.

I was playing this on a MacBook with high resolution screen and for me the game was almost impossible to read since it was very small. Full-screen didn't help for this.

The sound effects are quite nice! I really enjoyed the camera share too! I love those kinds of details!

Great Job!

This is cool! The controls feel really good—that’s hard to polish in such a short time, so well done there. Music has a nice vibe to it. I thought the insta-kill borders were a little harsh vs. the rest of the things that can hurt you which you can recover from, but I guess it’s a reasonable design choice.

Nice! I like the simplicity, the basic gameplay is good and fun. Minor nitpicks: fullscreen would be nice and hidden cursor would look more clean.

Nice minimalist game. Bonus points for this being an experiment with a new engine - I love seeing LD being used as a learning exercise. Gameplay was clear and smooth - I felt like I got better each time through. My only real gripe with the gameplay is it felt hard to predict how close my dash would take me to the outer edge, but I guess that's a good use of the Limited Space theme. The music was moody and fit the vibe of the game well.
