What a lovely little game! I'm a big fan of Zachtronics games and this feels like it would fit perfectly in his catalog. The visuals were amazing--not only was the art perfect for the game, but the CRT filter and menus just dripped with visual polish.

Overall, an incredibly impressive effort and one of my favorites of the Jam so far--very nicely done!

I was very impressed by the game-play and the number of different levels. The addition of duel leader-boards really brings out the competitive spirit. Great work on this one!

@breadstick Thanks! The feeling of Zachtronics games (as well as some inspiration from the Crazy Machine series) is what I was going for and I'm glad it **delivered**.

Cool game! I liked the general style and the study of the physics of moving the robot, I would like to add a plot here and then it would be even more interesting)

Super cool idea and execution, well done! However I must say it's not so intuitive that the commands are in seconds while there is a grid on the floor, I was sure I was giving instructions in grid cells before I reached the second level haha Cool one!

Challenging but fun! Especially the explosives are unforgiving, but since the physics work well, making ever so slight adjustments made the robot's movement very satisfying. Reminded me of building PF maps in Trackmania ;D

The visuals and sound are also on point for this. Well done!

At first I was pretty torn with the instructions being physics and not grid based. I think a lot of this comes down to there being a visually distinct grid, so it was surprising when the little guy flew off the grid as soon as I started turning.

That said, I ended up liking it quite a bit once I got my bearings.

I did notice a lot of obstacles can just be bowled through. I suspect that's why the TNT gets added later, but it would have been nice to have fixed barriers and more explicit training on being able to punch through boxes with enough speed.

Really nice work! The leaderboard is a nice touch.

@cfinger Thank you, although it's not a perfect solution. Someone managed to mess with the leaderboards last night and I had to basically wipe it entirely (I guess there was a better way to handle this but it was late and I was drunk lmao)

@ryabchik We actually planned to include black boxes and pop-ups with some story elements, but there wasn't enough time. I guess it's something to think about in the future if we ever continue working on it! Anyway, I did manage to include three secret boxes - less of a storytelling, but still a nice easter egg.

@bmanstudio @fireslash Thank you for your feedback! The idea behind the grid was that it would be easier to see where objects are in relation to one another, since the view isn't pointing straight down and perspective is involved. Can't really say if lack of the grid or some other solution would be better but I'll make sure to think about it if we ever plan to expand it.

Brilliant little game. I absolutely love the "program your own robot" games (totally unconnected to my real life career choices), and this one is no exception. Audio and visuals are well executed, everything feels smooth and polished. I love that I get a trajectory line in "edit mode" after my last attempt that I can use to optimise. Also, giving the author's solution parameters (time and instructions) is a genius way to keep me on my feet and try to optimise my solutions.

Really well done, I had a wonderful time with this. If you added some more elements to this (i.e. moving parts on the board, other gravity wells, etc...) and kept adding some puzzles, I can absolutely see myself (and others) following this to a proper release.

Instant love from the first screen! Charming vintage computer aesthetic, gravity free puzzle, so good. Great entry. I wish simulation speed do not reset every new run. But it's a nit pick.

Excellent game, good music for the setting except for the cripplingly tedious last level which needs a doom metal rendition detuned by a half step. The mechanics are buttery smooth, but the explosions create uncertainty in the output of some playbacks. If anyone ever asked you what it's like to tas for Portal 2 this might be the greatest representation.

I loved the levels where you had to turn to drift through a tight space. It took me until the last level to figure out that you could come to a stop by going backwards the same amount as you went forwards.

Very fun game, The UI would make it seem like a normal grid based "move x > move y" thing but the use of physics makes it all the more interesting solution wise.

Hey Mr Triple Laser guy, really cool game! Turn-not-turn-based puzzle is is a nice fuse of genres. It is extremely satisfying to tune the timings perfectly so that the robot drifts all the curves perfectly. Although I must say it becomes tedious further in the levels, and it gets harder and harder to commit to investing time to such tuning. Like, in turn-based games you can actually predict future in your head and there are much fewer iterations required. Good that there is a speed-up functionality, but then it cripples the satisfaction from watching the robot grazing through space. I don't actually have much suggestions on how to improve this to make this less tedious. One thing that was lacking in that department is some kind of... step progress? Like, you know you need a 5-ish-second forward command, and then you have to try it, see it's too much, try lower, then lower, then higher... If there was a "progress bar" on each step, optinally with exact current time (or maybe even shoiwng it on the main screen, somewhere on top of the field), it would be easier to eyeball the approximate time you actually need.

Anyways, I'm just nitpicking: this is a great game idea, and definetely a polished core game. Good job!

Great game! The cutest robot I've ever seen, with great pixel art and modeling, and the screen filters are also nice! Awesome game! I love it so much!
