I like little that audio, maybe next time. I like mood in this, game really I like it. Averagly fit into the theme.. Not too horiblle art but next time try invest time more into art. Fun factor is not high at this game, but maybe next time you will think more about that and it will be better. Overall your game is good, good job.

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will appreciate very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

I love concept of using time as a component of the game. I love platformers with weird themes. Love the animation and the visual changes every time you change time.

Very fun ! i love the phase changes, i really wanted to implement something like that too. cudos

It was a strange experience but also a nice one :D

This was a fantastic game! The mechanics reminded me a bit of Braid. The art gave me nostalgia. I feel like this has the potential to be expanded to a commercial game. Great work!

Great game! I love the pixel graphics and audio. The gameplay was fun and challenging. I annoyingly kept pressing restart whenever I meant to press s to change the time, but otherwise pretty fun. Well done!

Very cool game. An interesting idea. The idea that the environment shifts every 10 seconds, and you can time travel between these dimensions in flux is pretty cool, but mechanically it felt like I was just toggling platforms on and off with a few seconds delay. The level designs feels particular rushed, sorry to say. I really like the visuals and the effects, and overall it feels like a very good prototype exploring that time shifting idea. Great job!

This was a cool concept and I think with a bit of work it could be a super awesome game. The concept of going forward in time was pretty neat, and I think if you leaned into that more, you would be getting somewhere. Unfortunately right now it was very hard to tell what was going to happen after the 10 seconds were up, which left me wishing for some indicators or something like that. The audio and visuals were decent and the controls were relatively good. Good job on this entry :)

Good: I liked the idea of the time shifting, it feels like that titan fall 2 level. The platforming works pretty well, and overall it's pretty fun. I like having the different music for each time period, but the speeding up sounds kind of annoying and in my opinion it could have been cool to have them kind of flow into each other because they are all different versions of the same song. I liked the visual style and graphics, but the effects on top kind of got annoying after a bit, maybe they could be toned down a little.

Could improve: I think the visual clarity of what is the past and what is the future, and how objects stay in the same place feels confusing and is hard to understand. Also the different ways doors function are not indicated at all. The levels feel unfinished with the platforms made of the same block multiple times, and the levels are confusing. The last two levels I only beat because the boxes fell through walls so idk. The use of the theme of every 10 seconds feels a little underutilized, because most of the time you manually speed up time and the forced time change wasn't very impactful.

Overall, it's pretty fun and I think there's a lot you could do with the concept if you expanded on it.

I loved the mechanics, art, and sound effects! Something that I didn't like was that to know how to solve each level you needed to go through all the possible "versions" first and the fast forward button was loud and took too long. The screen shader might be a little bit overtuned too.

Either way, great entry, really enjoyed it.

Good concept. I loved the character art style but I feel like the heavy post-effects took a bit away from that. The effects were good (esp. the speeding up of the horizontal static when you fast forwarded) I just think they were a bit to heavily applied. I liked the puzzles but input lag on the web added an extra degree of difficulty (which is obvs not you fault). Good music and sounds, too. Good job!

Edit: Also the web build on the LD page isn't working. You might not have renamed your html file to index.html if you've uploaded any bug fixes.

Nice concept. I was arguing with friend yesterday that you can't create good platform where environment changes every 10 seconds, but you've made me think you can. Nice combination of time skip mechanic with level design and the hole idea of different worlds

I only wish for non-shader version, 'cuz too much of them for me :)

Very good graphics and mood, unfortunately I encountered some bugs and level design issues which prevented me to completing the game (like a crate getting stuck in the corner when dropped). But it's a great game and with a very great music and visuals, congrats!

tyrannas 2022-10-04 20:50

Really nice idea! A bit confusing at first but when understood, the mechanic is clever! Nice game !

pianoman373 2022-10-06 00:21

Good concept. I feel like it could be explored more if the game was developed further. The 10 seconds aspect does a good job at sticking to the theme but doesn't really have any function as it could just be an instant button press.

nardandas 2022-10-06 20:50

Really cool direction to take the theme. With the initial levels I felt the 10 seconds was just kind of a mandatory wait, but on later levels it felt integral to the levels, good job! I had a bit of frustration with the conveyors not "speeding up" when I pressed speed up, it'd be nice if those were consistent. The art and sound felt clean enough for the game, I really liked the speedup effect on the sound. Good job!
