Hi. I quite liked the game, but 10 seconds becomes too fast after the first 4-5 levels. Or I'm getting old. I guess that's the theme, but maybe you can get a time bonus in some random empty tiles?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD51 → Star Sweeper

Enjoyed it. I wish the star tiles still had numbers on them, so I knew if they were adjacent to a lock tile.
I like how simple the game is but effective! I do think you could try to export this to Open-GL and get some more votes going towards you.
Honestly before I played this I couldn't see how minesweeper that resets every ten seconds was at all a good idea. But this is a whole different game, more about looking for the quickest way to get to the stars. The different mines and how they interact add so much depth to a simple game. The moment when you use the blind mine to get past the lock mine is when this game really won me over.
Interesting art design and game art. I enjoyed it. Good job to the whole team
Fun puzzles! the constraint turned it into a pretty cool mix between a memory game and minesweeper, the later puzzles got super hard though haha
The visuals were clear and distinct and did their job very well, but I'm sad to say I bounced off the gameplay. I'm not a huge fan of trial-and-error to begin with, and the way the game encouraged me to play quickly, but then forced me to wait out the timer when I had locked-out all my options with padlock cards, meant it got tedious fast.
The general idea probably has promise though. It's just a matter of fine-tuning the level design and difficulty to focus more on the feel of frantic clicking and less on waiting out the clock when you have no moves left. Sadly, that kind of fine-tuning is difficult on such a tight deadline, and there's not really much you can do about that...
Spectacular! Maybe my favorite I've played yet. The progression of each stage from exploring the board, to figuring out the puzzle elements, to optimizing your path was really satisfying. The later stages with new tile mechanics were inspired as well, I had at least a couple "aha!" moments that really sold me on the concept. Very well done!
wonderful puzzle game but the mechanics of time do not sublimate it to my tastes. on the other hand I would have loved to see more of the last mechanics which arrives a little late according to me
Really cool idea, it's a unique take on the theme! The game is pretty well polished and very enjoyable to play, with a reasonably well tuned degree of difficulty (I felt on some of the levels that I had just enough time to do everything I had to). The only small downside is that you can kind of "brute force" most of the levels, trying again until you memorize where all the "mines" are. This could be circumvented by having some sort of randomization/procedural level (clearly out of scope for the ludum dare weekend, but maybe interesting if you'll continue to work on the game).
I'm happy to see something more on the puzzle side of things, the theme made most people go in the other direction. That was a surprisingly unique take on the minesweeper mechanic, and I really enjoyed it. More levels that took the concepts further would've been interesting to see, but there's already plenty here for a jam game. Nicely done!
Wow, that was a lot of levels, and each one introduces a new idea! Not too hard but not too easy either. A bit of trial and error, but it was a fun test of memory. The ten seconds allotted isn't... a lot (hehe) so there were times I had to click really fast to keep up. I would definitely love to see more of this!
Interesting puzzle game! Fun hexagonal take on minesweeper, with many different and surprising "mines". Nice in-game instructions. I finished all the levels. Playing with my trackpad on my laptop was somewhat challenging. ;)
After this jam, I think this would also be a nice game without the 10 second timer.
Great job!
