This game does a great job in many places. Most notably, the story encapsulates themes of grief and letting go of a lost loved one, all in a very fun mysterious format of a point and click game. Although the pacing of the game may not be as exciting as you expect, many details show the intricacies of these characters, which make them well-rounded and very relatable. In conclusion, this game makes me excited about how the characters progress in the sequel.

Incredibly well polished game. Honestly I am really impressed by how well everything works and how you managed to make such an immersive experience, good job !

The pc stuff feel so smooth for some reason I love it!!

peter-sc 2022-04-07 14:22

I really appreciate the on-point sound design.

The american writing of the dates screwed me over bad...

Ah man, I was very interested in this one and played a while but I got stuck! Really wanted to see how it progressed. Interesting idea.

The story is really cool! Lots of content. Also the sounds were very thematic.

Great atmosphere! I think I got even goosebumps at some point for some freaky reason :D. The computer usage was really smooth. Maybe some sort of reset button on the phone would have been nice for easier recovery from typos.

There was one issue though. The mouse sensitivity was quite low (I think I have 400dpi), so looking around was quite difficult

Wow ... So much work here. The voice acting is awesome, the 3d models are nice, the pc file system :astonished:. The story goes really well with the theme.

Maybe you should've add the date format in the requirement file. I also feel a double clic sound is really missing.

Great entry!

I don't know if it ends as it did - going back to the menu after, but at first I was kinda lost, then it got really engaging (I really like voice acting). So I really like this entry! Nice composition and design. Would be nice to see this being expanded. Well done!

The experience is quite unique, with the gloomy setting in an office and basicly, everything take place outside of view. It work well but ask a lot (I didn't have the endurance to play it past the "first day"... sorry). It still make a good mix between the two!

Intriguing game! It seems I finish it, but I don't fully understand what went on :D. The mood is excellent, really like the graphics, and the sound effects also seem solid. Good job! Cheers.

Love the mood and the setup! Those American dates where little problematic for me too. Nice game

It's good to see more LD game with voice acting, well done! and the story was so intriguing and sad!

dgspitzer 2022-04-12 23:51

It's a very sad and emotional story! Love the mood a lot (Bring me the backroom horror vibe ;P)

The 90s look of the PC and OS was very well done and polished. I wish there were more apps in the pc to keep fiddling with it

This was a really interesting experience, the game itself is pretty polished. Voice acting was perfect to be honest, but I have to agree with @antsa about the sensitivity though. After finishing the game, I'm still not so sure whether I fully understood the story correctly or not, but the mood is definitely a plus and for me it is the main point of this game. Keep up the good work and I hope to play more of your games in next LD jams!

Oof that really hit hard. Brilliant story-telling! the on-screen system alone is very impressive but to combine it with other physical objects really makes the world feel real. And I love that you chose such a mundane task as the job because it really helps drive that emptiness feeling home. Very difficult to give this game a "Fun" rating as I really enjoyed the game but there was no fun to be had. Same goes for "Humor"

pretty cool game. well polished. a bit tedious for me but thats totally up to personal taste. overall good entry

lenny-rudeberg 2022-04-19 10:48

All up I found this very interesting and I found myself really invested in the concept and how the story would pan out. Cool experience loved the voice work and subtle sound design, the simple game design was also a nice touch too.
