Hi! I've played your game and was impressed by graphics It's realy cool and authentic Theme is 5 out of 5, It's realy inevitable! The only issue is a lack of mechanics, the only thing you need to do is to fix the holes... After 5 mins of making this I'm getting little bored, I've imaged a mechanics like octopus tentecles or sharks or maybe drunk sailors (maybe they are in game, but I'm not sure:) Anyway very good for the 1st time Please play and rate our game. It's my first game too
Good game , graphics are very very good ! Even the idea is original , good work !

The graphics are so nice. it does become really difficult to see if theres a leak when the leak is underwater. I like the subtle effect of the plank shaking a little bit before breaking, allowed me to be ready for when it breaks. My time was 3:33 before the ship sank

Look good, but it was kind hard to see, where the source of water stream was, especially under water. Having a option to get rid of some water would make it less one-dimensional and more engaging.
Hahahaha... what a great and simple idea.. well done :thumbsup_tone1: REALLY difficult to see underwater leaks ... which makes sense
At first it starts out "this is pretty easy, no big deal." But as the water rises bit by bit and all those boards start adding up it really becomes a challenge seeing the leaks, which is a really cool buildup. Not sure if it was intended but once the floating boards covered the holes I was no longer able to patch them again, maybe too far under water at that point? Couple things I would have liked to see is some UI while playing showing the time played and maybe boards placed instead of just seeing it at the end, and a point in the game for those super quick on the mouse where a massive hole bursts out of the back and ends it automatically after so long or maybe a limit on how many boards you have to patch holes with and you have to break the boxes/barrels to get more or something. Overall great job though!

Simple gameplay but good implementation. The graphics are nice and well done. You can just stick to the game for a couple of minutes.
Well done for the first jam!
I have a "Sea Of Thieves" flashbacks haha :palm_tree::pig2:
And look at this massive pile of planks! 123.PNG

Nice graphics, sounds and gameplay are not bad, but maybe, i think it would be better with a score counter that gets shown as you play the game, like how much time you survived until that point and not only in the end. Other than that, good job :)
Thank you for playing the game! We agree, a kraken or some tentacles would be awesome! Wish we had done this if we had more time. It would be fun to make more elements. We wanted to create a dark atmosphere, but we see it can be a bit hard to see things. We were not sure whether to put the timer or planks UI or not because we wanted to create more of an immersive experience. So we opted for no UI this time. Again, thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it very much!:)
Very nice graphics and good selection of sound. We considered a similar idea, but we also wanted to do it with a full-fledged character, with full movement controls, so that the player had to run around the ship's hold and patch holes

Very simple game with great graphics!
Loved the graphics, the sfx were wonderful, i wished for a background pirate-ish music to `jam` to Overall, well done
This is a great entry, very impressive for your first one! This could be a fun minigame in any game with boats  I lasted 3:02 and used 111 planks. Keep on making games \o/
Pretty simple game mechanic, but fits the theme perfectly. And looks very nice! Great work!
Nice game! Untitled-11.png

Quite fun game, might get interesting if you rework it to something like cookie clicker. Just imagine, automatic plank distributors, nail drivers (also know as hammers), additional crew trying to patch up ship :D
There's a lot possibility to make this game really fun to play after Ludum Dare.

Good job! Nice graphics:) Loved that you could actually see your pile of planks just get bigger and bigger. Think this game could really benefit from some more mechanics or ways to delay the water, since it ended up feeling a bit repetetive after a while. Overall great job, hope you had a fun jam:D
Great execution! It has a nice level of engagement.

I've seen it mentioned in the comments above but I'm not sure whether underwater leaks are supposed to become unfixable or if it's a bug? Once the water had risen above the first unfixable hole things escalated very quickly as I had no way of truly stopping the flooding, which felt a little bit unfair given that fact that it was unclear to me whether it was intentional or not.
The tells of the shaking planks are a great additional. I didn't notice it at first but once I did they really helped me respond faster. I think the choice to have no UI was a good one, it did feel a bit more 'immersive' this way. Overall I like what you've achieved with such a simple concept, congratulations!

Nice game dude, didn't understand i was in game at the first, i thought it was a cinematic, but as soon i understand, yeah the theme is totally respected gg !
Graphics are great and the audio plays really well into setting the mood. Gameplay was a bit boring for me, but it was definitely in line with the theme!
This is good! The game looks great, the sound is amazing, and the game play is a lot of fun! You got a lot done in the 72 hours! Nice work!
Good game, simple, pretty and fun. Good job!
good art and sounds, would be good a counter and last longer, i make 1:30, not bad, cool entry, good job!
