Fun game, I like the style. Controls are a little floaty and hard to control well but great job!

Awesome entry. I really like this one...great effects with the slow down. Great job!

First go round the level I thought, "This isn't bad ... wonder what I'm supposed to do." When I got back to the beginning I thought I'd try the glowing green dot. Things changed quickly for me after that! Awesome job, really enjoyed it.

I liked how you used the theme to affect the gameplay in a profound way.

amazing entry it got a little hard to see after the 3rd one but I enjoyed playing it... good job could use a little quiet after experiencing that though tbh xD

These Pico 8 games often impress me, but this one is mindblowing! Incredible game, quite fun, top notch graphics and sound for the platform. Mood is super great (and matches the theme!).

On the "double jump" level I once got an unbeatable level, with the "goal" locked in an unreachable area. Other than that, no bugs. It's a bit too hard, maybe. In most levels I had to rely on luck to advance (being lucky to have all goals spawning close to my posititon).

But these are just minor points. This _is_ a great compo game!

PS: Is there escape from the "No Escape" level?

This game is cool as hell, awesome job. Works really well conceptually, everything just felt like it meshed intuitively. challenging idea to pull off, but you did it :D

This was a wild game. The main gameplay loop feels simultaneously smooth and unstable, since the more damage you take, the more unstable the actually PICO-8 VM becomes. The graphics were suitably glitchy to fit the feel of the VM/game world falling apart. The same goes for the audio.

However, the most important thing to note is that there are many, many flashing graphics. I don't have photosensitivity condition and this made my eyes hurt even then.

Overall, probably one of the most original representations of the theme.

That was a wonderful experience. I really appreciate how this game hits the theme perfectly. All the visual noise that appears as you take more damage was a very great alternative way of showing health. If there was something that I would try to improve, it would be the controls. It might have been the frame drops, but the character was quite tricky to control. But all in all, great game. Nicely done!

Very fun game!! However, I encountered a problem that after I obtained the double jump ability, I am stuck in one of the four rooms, because the path to other rooms are blocked off.

the effect omg the effects. Honestly just theres nothig much to say but its honestly the best entry ive played so far. Too bad i only got to explode then FRAGMENTED

qthree 2021-10-04 05:18

Good game, but levels are a bit too hard to navigate.

theviraldragon 2021-10-04 06:56

Good game but its a little hard for me.

recessive 2021-10-04 09:01

Nice game, the corruption sound was a little ear-splitting though

Pretty wild game! The wall jumping is kinda hard, especially with all these "birds" chasing you :)

trexxak 2021-10-04 21:52

Short game, yet really entertaining, and at points really confusing (though I feel that's the point). I was actually a bit spooked by the input lag :D
