I like every time someone manages to create a proggression system like this game. I got killed by the Big Tentacle Monster a few times, until I was able to upgrade my stats to take them down! What a great feeling! :sparkles:
If I'd change something, I'd make first upgrades cheaper and put more upgrades on the world. Now it took a while to get the first upgrades and I didn't need too many to win the Big Tentacle Monster. I know, balancing is tough with the Jam timeframe.

Pretty clean and understandable gameplay, atmospheric background music, but feel little unbalance in beginning of the game (difficult buy first power ups)
Cool game, quite fun, though it was frustating when a monster I was hunting floats off screen and I cant get my coins :(
I like the pixeldesign of the second monster... which killed me.
Loved that hyper music! haha and pretty interesting concept! great job! :D

Well designed and a fast game which is nice. Tho i was the one being hunted, the preys really are evolving! :D
I really enjoyed shooting to the tempo of the music. Think about it
Overall it was a fun and well executed game! The shots could have been maybe a little larger (visually at least), as it was hard to tell where the shots were going. I purposely got killed by the c'thulu monster thing, and I noticed that the player health bar kind of got hidden by the monster, so it was hard to tell how much HP I had left. It also seemed like it was impossible to kill the monster as it changed forms and reset HP before I could kill it, even with every shot hitting. The other thing that felt off was that it claims to be a "fast paced" game, but the movement speed and shot speed felt really slow... so that should have probably been sped up to line up with the tag line a bit better.
An interesting idea!
Having the pace of a battle change partway through because the monster changed into something else was pretty cool. Slowly becoming more and more powerful as you get upgrades also felt pretty good.
I really enjoyed this, I played for about 30 minutes and my bow was shooting like a machine gun while dealing 1/3 healthbar of damage each shot. It was a fun power-trip. However, I would've liked a bigger boss like enemy to give a sense of danger. After the first few upgrades it feels like you are unstoppable.
Awesome game! Really enjoyed playing it. Those boss monsters mess you up without any upgrades :D

Very cool! I played for far longer than I had expected to. I think the simple mechanics are very well supported by the upgrade system making it interesting to play for a while.
Very simple, yet very engaging. Keeps your attention. Thanks for making it!
I love these games with a variety of weapons/upgrades/enemies. Larger content makes the game more engaging. You should only be careful about those litle tiny bushes, it's hard to see and annoying when get stuck into it. Great game!

It's very nervous at the beginning of the game, especially when the enemy was very close to you but you cannot escape, I like that! Enemy can ran out of the map was the only thing that bothers me.

I like the upgrade system, being unable to kill the hostile monsters at the start and later, after a few upgrades, defeating them feels great!

Cool game, i really liked the idea of unstable enemies and the progression in respect with killing the enemies is great, however I missed some animations in the sprites and the hit box of the player is a bit too large, there are spaces between tree where looks like I can pass however the player get stuck

Would be very cool if u can do a post-jam version with suggestions from the comments. Mechanics are really cool, sliding and aiming while escaping a monsters was very enjoyable and stressful. I played couple times because I wanted to become stronger and stronger. Progression feels really great!
I want more enemies. At the beginning of the game, I can't find any enemies. But I love graphics and music. Nice job!
