The game is not (eh) really much balanced; perk prices are too much, game area is too small and everything weight too much on the platform. Still the game idea is unique and interesting, and there seems to be many varieties of upgrades to created in short Jam schedule. Instead of dropping the black balls, those would fly at the player or spawn on the area (while on dropping feature group of them make the area collapse at once)

This game is hard, but fun.

That music was BUMPING! The game was a bit too tough for me, but was super addicting nonetheless. I love the isometric view, it adds to the challenge and looks really nice. Fun game!

This game is great! I freaked out when the swarm of black balls fell on me. Addicting enough to want to replay and the touch of the isometric camera adds to the difficulty. Definitely unstable, with a good learning curve. The only thing I disliked was the complete resets when you lost :)

That game is a bit bard. It actually somewhat reminds me of mind. BTW that had some awesome music.

tiranice 2021-10-05 05:31

More shotgun force? That sounds like a trap upgrade, no thanks. (Promptly has 10 angry spheres dropped on head) NEVERMIND!!!

saintheiser 2021-10-05 18:08

Simple clever concept with pure game mechanics, thanks! Like how game swap different styles like "avoid red cubes" and "shoot out this thing from my platform".

Very nice game, felt really good to play. The graphics were pretty simple but communicated very well each thing, maybe changing the colors of the cubes would be nice since i thought it was an enemy at first and dodged all of them. The music was very nice, had a nice vibe to it and the SFX were crunchy. Overall a really good game, even if it is a little challenging at first

This is a really cool idea you got here. Combinding a roguelite with trying to balance yourself on a platform? Freaking hilarious! Simple but polished artstyle! Well done!

I really enjoyed the shooting mechanic, was cool to blow the other spheres off the platform. Upgrades were a nice touch. Would have been great to see some envioronment polish, like something for the background, but the controls and movement were nicely polished!

Fun game! Adding some lowpoly modeling to obstacles and gun would be great!

simpathey 2021-10-07 05:54

Honestly a fun game! I think the learning curve made it hard at the start. I might try and make the platform stable at the start and then get more wobbly. Just to let ppl adjust to the mechanic.

Cool game! I wasn't very good at it. ;) I played a few times, but didn't get any further than level 4. I am curious what will happen in the next levels, but completely restarting every time killed some of the fun. I found it surprisingly difficult to navigate on the unstable platform, especially when I couldn't see the ball anymore when it was tilting backwards. The graphics are simple but efficient. Well done!

itzemii 2021-10-07 15:32

I like the idea very much!. Very nicely and cleanly implemented. I am not good at it, probably because I am used to controller controls. This would be perfect for a twin stick controller controls. I would have preferred easier to get extras, as this is just a jam. So I did not get too far.

bruno-molteni 2021-10-07 15:51

really simple gameplay but nice to play, the controls are pretty responsive, only feedback I can give is I would make the first levels a bit longer...

polymathld 2021-10-09 06:40

Things I liked: The minimialism of the gameplay and visuals, very clean and easy-to-grasp game. Blowing enemies off the edge was cool. The sound effects and music you chose worked well. The game was very thematic. Upgrades are always great, and the opportunity to play better and optimize your power curve.

Things that could be improved on: The difficulty curve feels a little off, goes from zero challenge to almost no challenge to extreme challenge very fast. Probably just some more intervening levels that gradually ramp up would be welcome. I would like to see more visual polish--textures, particle effects, animations, etc.

Overall great work on fulfilling the theme with such a simple, creative, focused game!

Hey there! I really appreciated the way this game introduces its concepts in a staggered way. This let me lean into the game and get comfortable before things got too challenging. Although you didn't write the music, the choices of tracks were good. Likewise, though the graphics were simple, I thought they were tasteful. My biggest issue with the game is the severity of the "unstable" dynamics. I think that given what you've designed, it makes sense for the game to be as difficult as it is, but having to restart from the beginning every death feels unnecessarily punishing. A life system would have gone a long way to allowing players to see everything there is in the game. I made it to lv. 5, so I don't really know if there's more to it than that, which is a shame.

Overall, the game is definitely fun and I really liked the way you tackled the power cubes and environmental cubes sliding in on the same plane as the platform, so they never collided with it. I'm sure it was simple to execute, but feels very elegant in motion. Thanks for the game!
