I got an error loading the page, and wasnt able to play :(

davidmcarati 2021-04-27 07:56

Bro, game is unplayable due to error. "UnityModule" is undefined.

kwaku 2021-04-27 08:00

Hah these sounds :D i was hoping for more interaction tho. There is a float wine animation but nothing much happens. Maybe the cork could move too at least. But props for the graphics and audio :)

tudypie 2021-04-27 08:00

Haha such a cool take on the theme. The voice acting was also really funny. I really enjoyed playing and I managed to get like 28 bottles almost all of them perfect idk how. Really fun game! Great job :)

ciaccodavide 2021-04-27 08:01

Thanks!

I had a lot of fun recording the voices :D

whysguy52 2021-04-27 08:02

It worked fine for me. Very funny. i got 30 bottles (29 perfect 1 good). Very simple. not bad for only 8 hrs

ciaccodavide 2021-04-27 08:02

@seskon @davidmcarati that's strange...what browser are you using?

raivk 2021-04-27 08:05

It's quick and easy to understand the game, and that's cool! A bottle opening animation would have made the game more satisfying to play, but it's still nice. Great job!

craplex 2021-04-27 08:05

well, i dont know what to say, the voices were pretty funny at first :D but then it got old, the game is fun but there is nothing to do. I love that you took the theme literally. Good job P.S. Music is very cool.

keithswanger 2021-04-27 08:08

Super satisfying bottle pop sound, and the shadow of the bottle opener was very effective visually! Nice job!

kaito 2021-04-27 08:08

Cool minigame, I managed to open 23 perfect bottles :) I really like that you can play with any key, that's a really good idea!

st00nsa 2021-04-27 08:08

Nice sounds and visuals! It was fun! Love how you made DEEPER! voices! It would be perfect with animations of pulling cork and throwing it away.

dimonoider 2021-04-27 08:09

There is way to improve difficulty, but very nice idea. Thank you for good sound design :D

kudneus 2021-04-27 08:09

Thats really fun game GJ making it!

ciaccodavide 2021-04-27 08:10

@raivk you're definitely right, but I had no time left  I started very late

iak 2021-04-27 08:10

Nice, simple and with pretty good sound. This could be a minigame in an RPG...

bentebent 2021-04-27 08:12

Pretty subtle but I like it. Kinda miss having a bit more feedback on success/failure, like some screen shake or whatever. Overall solid effort, well done.

sevkron 2021-04-27 08:12

I liked the elegance of just having any input be valid to control the game. The variation on the timing to open the bottles keeps things engaging for the runtime. Could have used some variety in the bottles you open but besides that the graphics are nice and homogeneous.

copito 2021-04-27 08:12

Simple but pretty fun I imagine this could be a good party game especially if you tried to keep pace with the wine bottle opening. The voices were great too

ciaccodavide 2021-04-27 08:12

@dimonoider thanks! Yeah, I left it a bit too easy

ciaccodavide 2021-04-27 08:13

@whysguy52 @st00nsa thanks! :smile:

joni-brooks 2021-04-27 08:13

the sound design made the game super addicting! the overall vibe was really cohesive and i could 100% see this as a mobile game

unbansheee 2021-04-27 08:13

I like the reactive sounds, it would be nice for the difficulty to ramp up, and maybe some variance in how the bottles look. I agree that it would serve well as a minigame in an RPG

iaandrei 2021-04-27 08:13

Awesome game dude! I love the simplicity of it and the sounds :)

@bentebent yeah...I wanted to add a gameover screen or popup, but I started too late  thanks for the feedback anyway!

Ty for the game!

nopogo 2021-04-27 11:47

1964 high score. fun little game, very satisfying audio with the cork plops

makse 2021-04-27 15:42

Funny!

nerzal 2021-04-27 16:13

I liked the music, it perfectly matched the tavern athmosphere. Graphics are perfectly on place.

Entertaining controls, with varying difficulty in each bottle. The highscore consists of 2 parts - nr. of bottles opened and the grade of the opening - which is nice, as it implements a competitive factor.

It seems to be a really nice game, to distract yourself in a lunchbreak of something like that at work and compete with others.

In a possible postjam version, some web-based-highscore feature would be nice!

Although the game itself is pretty simple, i really appreciated playing it, thanks for this submission!

harrison-dunn 2021-04-27 21:07

This is amazing. This is a perfect jam game. Simple concept, smooth implementation, and a tiny bit of polish. I love this. Great job :)

nyanpierre 2021-04-28 02:19

As a french developper I really like this game :)
