Nice pixel art, music wasn't that noticably repetitive. It felt a bit punishing to start all the way over, but maybe that's just because I'm bad at bullet-hell games... Very fun overall!

Great art, funny enemies, dig the music. Didn't really feel the theme from it. Art is really nice but hard to tell bullets from enemies and pickups sometimes. The wave weapon is cool.
Eggcellent!
Really cool game. Visuals are fantastic and cohesive. Did you use a specific palette for this? I would have liked some audio and/or visual feedback on hitting the enemy. I also felt underpowered, and it seemed like the best strategy was to focus on avoiding the enemy rather than trying to kill them. Well done.
Fun, though it's hard to tell what's going on at times. Never fought eggs before, so there's that. Given that it starts all over when I die, I'd like to have some sort of score.
If you were able to achieve that in 9 hours, It's unfortunate you weren't able to do the full 48 hours. The game could have really HATCHED into something even greater.
Its really amazing this was done in only 9 hours. I loved the graphics and the gameplay :O
Pretty funny and fun  Those flying fried egg sawsers hit me hard XD
@rhoff95 I used the default Aseprite palette. A bit lazy, perhaps, but most people don't recognize it.
For 9 hours.. Well done! I think some additional sounds (something when being hit on top of the red flash would be helpful specifically) would really tie this together. All in all while done!
Seems like the shotgun is the superior weapon, really only defeated by toast (sentences you never thought you'd say). The front shooting weapons have the problem of putting them selves in the danger zone for the most common enemy and the side shooter are a bit awkward to use. The all shooters probably good since it fires in the most directions.
Great work on this bullet hell game, good art, good sound, and lots of fund
Such simple but such fun!!! Btw, is main hero a frog or a dinosaur? (I wish it's a tiny t-rex)
@jokerbomb There's actually a subtle hit sound, but it's drowned out by the music. I forgot to test it properly beforehand.
@tentaclemax It's a frog - although, admittedly, it does resemble a T-rex.
As as big bullet hell fan, I really liked your game! Especially for something made in 9h that's quite impressive!! A few feedbacks though: a score counter would have been nice, it's always more satisfying ! And also, the eggs are sooo small. It can be kinda frustrating haha. But good job anyway!!
Яйца сырые, яйца вареные, яйца вкрутую, яйца всмятку, яичница, глазунья, бутерброды с яйцом - это просто яичный рай! Очень яичная игра получилась! ^_^
A SHMUP is fine too. Graphics are really really nice, audio gets a little grating after a while, and the gameplay id good though the powerups feel slightly underpowered. Would love to see an enemy with more complex patterns, but for a 9 hour game it's impressive nonetheless.
The background speedlines sometimes blind you to what's going on with the eggs but such is life in space when no-one can hear you frog or something.
Surprisingly lot of gameplay squeezed together in just 9 hours, and the controls and hitboxes are actually quite solid.
Reminds me of Chicken Invaders!
A really fun bullethell! It didn't hit me that the enemies were eggs first, so seeing yolks pop out gave me a chuckle. The powerups switch up the gameplay well, and the music is good.
