I liked the concept of using tone as a consideration for your weapon..

I liked the concept of using tone as a consideration for your weapon..
The idea seems cool, but I find the controls somewhat clunky. I also do not know what the green spheres do, some additional explanation would have been nice. With some more polish I think this could become a very good game.
The idea of using sounds as a weapon is really cool. Too bad I suck at it! Intresting game.
It was hard to use controls and aim a few first attempts. Nice idea of using tones tho!
An interesting concept for the game. Working with bullets looks good. But it's a little difficult to understand the controls. Nice job!
Pretty tough to aim, it's very sensitive on the controls. I recommend tuning that down a bit or providing an option because I found it hard to get far. Nice work on the sounds though :)
Interesting game, but very difficult to play and understand - might have been good to include a simpler tutorial level before diving in. But cool looking and charming. Nice work.
I couldn't understand what I was supposed to do before losing.
I don't think it's hard to understand or that you needed a tutorial. I don't think you get anything with the grid based movement rather than continuous movement. Good job!
Interesting idea, but the controls / execution could use a lot of work, felt very clunky. (Like others I also had a hard time understanding what I needed to do until I carefully read the game entry).
The grid movement seems unnecessarily difficult, and the combination of arrow keys and mouse don't go very well together.
quite interesting, i did win quite easily, overall good job
pretty challenging controls. also took a while to figure out what i was supposed to be doing. grid movement added what seemed like unnecessary limitation to the game. got into the swing of it once i figured out how it worked though. nice submission!
I feel that this way of moving is not very suitable for the game of dodging bullets.
Interesting ideas! The controls are pretty difficult, as others have said. I think as well there are too many yellow spheres on the screen so it's pretty difficult to dodge. With some polish this could be a very cool game! Well done!
It is nice that you tried to make something unusual. I didn't understand the pitch aspect at first, most of the time I'd just whack the bird and it'd die. While trying out patched version I started to understand. It is good that you improved controls, but considering how hard it is to compare pitches there is a real need to make controls even simpler, so one can focus on the tones. Thinking more ways to have less buttons would help.
Still, very interesting interpretation of the theme.
Very clever take on the theme. The mouse controls were a bit tricky --I felt like the mouse should "aim" at the place you are pointing. Ideally holding down a movement button would continue to move the character. Pretty neat concept overall, and would like to see more enemies/puzzles/stages.
@kr4ft3r I appreciate your feedback on the differences between versions! Really helps us determine if we are moving in the right direction.
Very original take on the theme, liked it! Controls are a bit inconvenient, agree with suggestions above. Would make it simpler to have them more the Enter the Gungeon style. Other than that, it was quite fun to play. Great job!
