Took a hot second for me to realize exactly what was happening with the gameplay, but it's very cute. The quick-time events feel very unforgiving.
great twist on a fishing game! was a lesson in patience waiting to catch the right animal when i only had one or two cards left (it was always rabbit), but never frustrating and very rewarding to nail that skill shot hook to hit the right animal between two others. sounds and graphics were great. the guitar on the main menu was a nice touch!
Love the art!
What a cute and relaxing game. I love fishing games, for some reason that I do not quite completely understand myself, and it was a real pleasure playing this one. I never saw a fishing game with this mechanic, well done! :D
The art was really amazing the hook especially . The combination of gameplay was intersting and the sense of progression pretty nice. Failing a key is way to punishing resulting in almost always a snapped hook. The spawn chance could be weighted toward the card you need to complete so as to not have to wait to long for the single animal you are missing.
I love it, very relaxing and challenging enough!
I would add a color to the arrows to make them easier to distinguish, like that: arrows.png
A game I didn't expect here - while the first levels are ok, the third one is extremly frustrating simply because of the low spawn rate of the rats, so I sat back, watched the scene for a bunch of seconds until finally a rat came by, alone, so I can fish it - and then I lost the minigame because I was in a relaxed mood and just too slow and unfocused. The graphics are nice, sound too, but I think those two things don't mix well. Relaxing vs stressful. Still, bugfree and well executed. ^^
@leorid fixed system of animals spawn, thanks for feedback!
@paul-maxime thanks for feedback and really nice idea, we added colorful arrows)
Cool game! At first I thought the longer QTE:s were a bit harsh if you messed up, but then I realized there was no level-based time limit, which made it more relaxing  The artstyle was great and the animals adorable!
such a pretty project) and I still don't understand why I should avoid hedgehogs. they're super cute!
It's good, want to more trees))
Very interesting game mechanics, great graphics and sounds too! However, at the last level, there are a lot of wild boars that go slowly and prevent the rest of the animals from being collected :(
I hope you will add more creatures and levels in the future! I really stuck to your game for about ten minutes!
I really like elf's sly face haha I miss keys but it makes game more interesting and kinda challenging! You're cool :^)
Nice graphics. I especially loved the background noises like the birds chirping. Overall an interesting concept.
Interesting game !
This is a fun and rather polished little game. I love the combination of fishing and quicktime events. Granted. I suck at quicktime events. But ye olde man managed them anyway. So that's great.
If I had to nitpick on something I'd say this: The fishing mechanic could be expanded upon. The fact that I must avoid hedgehogs makes me think: I'd love some more diversity in obstacles, actually. Perhaps dung beetles rolling their ... dung that you have to avoid. Add do that an option to manually take the "hook out of the water" for some more control. Which would play together with avoiding the stuff I shouldn't be fishing.
@n-robllits You avoid hedgehogs _because_ they are cute :D
This game as a nice feel to it, promoted by the graphics and sound. It was a relaxing experience and fun too. I like the suggestion about possibly coloring the arrows as suggested above ^. Well done.
