Very innovative! Didnt expect a whole website as a game xd. Well done. I kept playing until it stopped working for some reason though.

I loved this! It's basically the game I tried to make but pulled off so much better. Sound design and everything was awesome. High rating :D
I dislike it tried to use my real email... um I how what the i got a 504 gateway time out...
It just didn't work :( but I love the design of the website
Now I know that there is a link between starving and playing League of Legends, thanks!!
Is there really a virtual boy build? :red_circle: :black_circle: Please upload some gameplay or screenshots!
A fun and interesting one! I love how you guys wrote an email system for this! Unfortunately I did encounter some glitches where the page would freeze, though I'm not sure if this is a glitch or to add a more realistic feel in comparison to the email my work uses LOL. Well done overall!
That was a hell of a ride! This is a very interesting game that perfectly fits the theme, is interesting, humorous , and is very innovative. Unfortunately after a while it just stopped working. Nothing clicked and no more messages arrived. Dunno if this was intentional but in any case - Keep it up man!
This game must be the most innovative I have played yet. Great concept. The responiveness could be better as it sometimes seems like inputs are delayed by quite a bit.
@mellobacon @kingofnova @matchaflavor @lvl3mage Hey everyone, thanks for playing our game! Looks like we've had a few unexpected bugs (maybe caused by high load? our system generates PDF resumes in real time...).
However, if you refresh the page, the game should be exactly as you left off. Just "login" with whatever. If you didn't notice, that page does nothing. :)
Page took almost a minute to load the login screen then timed out after that. :(
Hahaha, excellent guys! Has to be some hard work behind this, I had a good time playing. Overall, impressing! Thank you and I hope to see you in the next Jam! :D
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
It was very funny while it lasted, but at some point I think it got stuck and I couldn't hire or get any new emails.
This was quite fun, some of the mails were really fun to read (especially the mails to fire someone). Well done!
Very cool platform, it's always refreshing to see non-Unity HTML5 games (wink wink my game), and you guys took it to the next level by hosting it on your website, congrats! One of the more innovative games I've seen this jam, for sure.
Very cool idea and concept. All the writing and humor great! I managed to play twice without hiring a single League of Legends player, along with being called "the elite of the elite of the elite." eventually. I'll take that as a victory. Only thing I was a bit confused was on the choice of music, as I had to mute it due to the short loop getting into the way of my very meticulous hiring process. :D
Asshurtiveness: Exceeds expectations
:DDDDD
Great humour and fantastic concept. I would've liked the game reacting to my mouse input faster, but I guess that was a deliberate choice to make the whole "office" setting even more immersive :D
The game stopped reacting completely shortly after it called me asshurt though, so I don't know who has the real problems  (this one isn't intended, I'd guess?) /edit: turns out the server went down... Will play later to finish the game for sure!
Nonetheless, well done, I really had fun playing this :D
Good Concept Bro.....Keep it up...Mza aa gya.....
Tested the game and holy god it s something else. I really did not expect something like this and the way it worked with the theme. The souless HR worker that does the same few things for hours and hours without stopping. You really pushed the theme to another level and you hit so hard with this game. While i was playing i really started to feel like i'm an HR worker and at that point i was like " I need to stop! " Cheers mates, you really did your job really great and got yourself such a nice game in so little time. I am ready to see what you can do when you are not constrained to only a weekend!
The game is very good! However to play it you need to be a fun of textual games or to have mood for it, because you have to read a lot. I like the humour that presents in a game. I would love to play that game again when I would have mood and time for it. Nevertheless the game is awesome!
Very original, most innovative idea I've played yet! Congrats on the tech, did the PDF are generated in real-time?
Unfortunately, I clicked too much on an Hire button at some point and the game got stuck :(
Very nice humor and a great idea. You did such a good job of creating an atmosphere of soulless corporation drone work, that I was actually relieved when I finally got to click "go home"
I enjoyed playing! I am still wondering if the server going down and me having to resend the data to continue the game was a part of the game ;).
The only strange thing is that often on CV I found skills/traits listed double. Maybe it was intentional, as somebody was twice as good at sniffing feet as the next guy so he just had to list it twice
Great job!
Wow, so different, really liked! Good job
This was hilarious and fun
@flazone Thanks for the compliment! And yes, the PDFs are generated in real time, using the same software as most professional real resumes (pdflatex). Each of the applicants are generated in real time, in fact. There's a lot of .txt datasets and RNG code in the source code.
@fabula-rasa Thanks for playing! Unfortunately no, the server issues are not part of the game. We've tried to figure out what's going on, but found nothing. Probably just what we get for using a cheap VPS to host it. But if it adds to the immersion for you, all the better. ;)
Also we're aware attributes can show up more than once on a resume. It's not intentional exactly, but we weren't in a big hurry to fix it as it can have funny results as you found :D
Not my thing but well done guys. Seems like a huge effort that was lost on me sorry but reading others feedback they really like it
It's very different from other games ! Good job very innovative
This was incredibly well done, particularly from a technical standpoint. The humor and writing was absolutely on point. Awesome!
I love all the hilarious reasons why employees are being fired. The mime, the jaguar, all great work! Also the little in-between emails about the parking, or the performance review, or the fall fair with bobbing for nails- oh my! Great job all around! The humor was delightful.
very cleverly made and is unique. loved it
Very good concept, well done !
I actually had "email sim" written as one of the ideas on my whiteboard, but it was among the first deleted in favor of other ones. Anyway, this game is very different and unique and it was fun and funny to play.
Amazing text quest. Really funny texts.
