Spawned next to a carrot and kept getting kicked to the "buy" screen. Over. And over. Again. Sooo...technically stuck in a loop? Is this meta? A Jojo reference? The world may never know.

Same for me - keep getting "buy" screen over and over again. Is this a bug?
@meek-bits @timeloopedpowergamer yeah it was a bug :-| should be fixed now
thanks for your feedback btw
Thanks for fixing the bug. The idea is quite interesting. Kind of like a rogue/stealth game, but also running away from enemies or pretending to be dead. I like how the wolfs realize there's a rabbit and start chasing it. Plus for humor.
I wouldn't mind a faster pace though - more acceleration and probably smaller levels. I think I would also prefer the movement to take place on a grid. What I mean by that is tapping an arrow key once would be enough to move the rabbit to the next cell.
I like the name. It was a fun little chase. I think the controls were a bit floaty. If your character stopped when you stopped and started at full speed (moved at a constant rate only when you're moving them) it would feel a lot smoother to move.
Ah, rabbit looks very cute ^^ Oh man, those controls! They are super unrealistic, but somehow super fun! Running rabbit with a ton of inertia looks so silly :) Stealthy atmospere is fun, but it vanishes rather quickly as you realize that wolves are slow (and stupid) and you can easily outrun them. I wonder how this changes over time when level will be packed (pun intended) with wolves. Unfortunately, after I lost, I had to start from level one, which I decided not to. Probably because of relatively long game cycle. I would say, smaller map, random level generation, and some smarter / faster AI would make this game more fun. Not sure though, experimenting with those things would help to figure this out. Anyway, pretty fun little game, liked it!
came to play your game because i love ninjas and i love rabbits.
this has so much potential. the game has good vibes, and i love that you made an ability system. but the controls! it felt like the rabbit was walking on ice and grease and i don't even know what else.
your idea was very interesting and i'd totally play the game with some less wacky controls
It's a neat idea, and looks adorable. I also commend you for including a tutorial, that's some good production value. I think perhaps the wolves appear too slowly for a map that size? Apart from a few tweaks though this is a proper game. Good job!
So did you actually implement the shotgun?
I like the game overall, maybe it should ramp up the wolf amount a bit quicker since I think the best moments are when you have a pack of the wolves on your tail.
It took a bit to ramp of before the wolfs became a concern but it became a lot more hectic then! The slow acceleration on movement was a bit odd, but it had a fun quality once I was used to it!
Cute game but it has some issues. The first game I started I was inside a rock and couldn't move. Next time I started inside a tree. Third time I started in closed enclosure and couldn't get out. Then inside a bush. It took me about 7 reloads to start in a valid position, but the carrot was inside a tree - fortunately I could still get it. When placing things you should add a check to avoid placing them in the starting and the ending area.
Cute idea for a game. I also found the controls extremely floaty; something more responsive would have felt much nicer to play (and made each level a little shorter, which would be nice).
The upgrades are a good thought though I think they cost a little too much and the last one doesn't seem to do anything when you buy it ;) A suggestion to expand things a little might be to make them repeatable purchases, allowing you to play dead or sprint multiple times per run - perhaps they could cost a little more each time.
(Also an amusing point, it was surprisingly effective to sprint full steam towards the carrot and death-slide through all the wolves that tried to pounce on me).
