Aha! Good to see someone from the other side, I'm can program but I suck at art :stuck_out_tongue:
This game looks really beautiful. Great to have it in your portfolio as an artist.
Some feedback on the few game mechanics there are: * I couldn't rotate and walk at the same time, maybe look up some movement tutorials and try to remake that, there are a lot of tutorials for movement out there. * I think you should look at the camear/playerview together with your level design. I think the heightdifferences in the level didn't really work with the way your playercamera was designed. There are a lot of blind corners, holes I couldn't see. I'm not an expert on that either, but I think it needs some tweeking to give the player a better feel for where they are and what surrounds them.
Good luck, and thanks for the game!

Game looks great at least. I feel maybe perhaps the player is a bit small compared to the world around him. I couldn't find anything to do except shoot arrows at nothing. But graphically you're definitely on to something.
Hi, congrats on your first jam! Here are some nitpicks I had: - Hide the mouse cursor - It wasn't clear at all what to do or where to go - Maybe put the controls in a separate screen (menu screen?) or something, having them always be there in big font kinda ruins the atmosphere

Very nice visuals! I didn't find much to do, but only seeing your art was a nice experience!
You should add "Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Confined;" anywhere in your code to hide the cursor and lock it in the game window, otherwise it's annoying for the players who have two screens ;)

This game looks amazing! There are a couple of things that I think could improve it (At least for me). Having some sort of objective, maybe running through the portals to reach the end, could really take the game to another level. The other thing that was slightly annoying was the cursor being visible, but that's not really a huge deal. Other than that, for your first game this is incredible!

Hey! Nice models for 16 hours! Especially considereing you also created some code in this time. I see you made really nice picture for your post, but the game itself looks a bit worse. Here is my screenshot: screen1.png I just wanted to give your some really simple tips to improve your graphics in a copple of minutes: * Add some ambient lighting to make shadows on trees less black * Decrease main light intensity (grass and rocks are far too bright) * Add post processing (google Post Processing Stack v2). Add some ambient occlusion and fog, it will make picture a lot pretier! * Make lava material emissive and add Bloom postprocessing
Models and movement are very good for a first time! Next time think about what to shoot and you have a solid game

I really loved the low poly art style I think it looks good, Lighting is maybe a bit harsh and could use some work. Didn't really know what to shoot at so I just walked around your looping world. it was quite relaxing.
What's the objective?

Interesting experience! I assume that the game part is rather unfinished, but it looks pretty as other people commented. I could see this as a multiplayer death match style map especially with the portals linking the islands. With some animated materials like making the portals all swirly and adding some particle effects this could be quite nice! If you want to focus more on the art side then I recommend partnering up with someone else who can focus on the programming. Often times game development discord servers will have spaces to form teams (if you don't know where to start perhaps the reddit.com/r/gamedev discord server? Or perhaps one focused on the community of a game developer that you like!) that way your next jam can be even more fun!
Great art and low poly models, but the lighting is pretty lackluster and there's no clear objective.
Also, just a note on developing with mouse controls, you'll want to lock your cursor. It may not seem like an issue besides the cursor flying around the screen as you control the camera but I have a multi-monitor setup, so when I move the cursor towards my second monitor and try to fire, I'll end up clicking off the game instead. There's a simple snippet of code that Unity has which will do that for you:
``` Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Locked ```
That's great stuff for 16 hours! Apart from some intensity/ambient lighting - I think a skybox would've really made it shine more. Good job!
For your first Jam, it's already good to have a small part of game working, and without bugs. The music is nice and the clean art style is fresh. And because it seems there's nothing to do, it's a bit matching the theme, because we just have to loop around the floating islands.
