this game is just perfect! the graphics, the mechanics are incredibly well done. GG to you because you did a perfect job!

jobluch 2020-10-05 18:22

man i really enjoyed this game. really good

colejparker 2020-10-05 18:28

Love the graphics and fits the theme perfectly! Would've liked a bit more feedback on where the train would actually go, as I'm not sure my lines were lighting up properly when I flicked the switches. Lovely game, though.

I really like the tube map graphical style. I didn't get the gameplay so much, but I couldn't experiment for very long unfortunately as the rapid zoomed in movement in full screen was starting to give me motion sickness pretty quickly :(

PS: there was no audio for me? Presuming that wasn't a bug, you can remove the audio category in the submission settings, so people won't rate you on that.

@wheybags Thanks a lot for the feedback! Yea we didnt get time to look at audio so Ive turned it off for now. Really appreciate the comments

@colejparker Thanks for the feedback! Yea we had that dilemma too as how to make it more clear to a player as to where the train is supposed to go. Will try to make the arrows more evident and the switches more clear

bootak 2020-10-05 19:52

Nice game, you were right, the concept IS similar to my game :) Nice graphics, I like that full train gets chubby, cute little detail :) Minimap is also on point

gammaromeo 2020-10-05 20:52

@bootak Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Pretty hard to understand the aim but graphics and animations are so cool and meditative)

batlen 2020-10-06 15:03

At first it was a bit hard to understand how to guide the train where you wanted to go but when you get used to it, it becomes quite satisfying to drive the train And the graphics are good as well, good job !

The aesthetics of this game are really nice. I was digging it for a bit, but I seem to be unable to drop off customers after the first couple batches of 3.

But that issue aside, this game is super clean. Solid entry, even though I don't think I got the full experience out of it.

GG Bro....This was kind of my primitive idea for a game....but saw it....got nostalgic...

caeonosphere 2020-10-08 01:36

I like how the train bulges as it fills with passengers. Very cute!

thebooksnail 2020-10-11 00:57

Good game idea for jam theme, I can't relate . I would recommend getting some audio in for it, a little sound goes a long way. It was pretty hard to see my switch changes since it was visibly represented on the map or in the close up of the train. More visual feedback would be helpful. A camera that had a little delay to the movement instead of being locked on the fast moving train would help with motion sickness.

oshawatt123 2020-10-11 15:46

Really cool concept! I was enjoying until the train had 3/3 passengers and no flashing destination so I think it broke? I just ran around stuck in the loop for ages with nothing happening :( I hope you can get that fixed because it would make a really nice casual game!!

yellowsalamander 2020-10-12 07:20

Happy 20 ratings!

Really inovative game: it has nice and simple graphics. A little sound could've been better, but hey, it's a game jam! The game broke after I got 3/3 passangers however. Some visual feedback on the rail switching would go a long way as well.

I liked the concept, and the gameplay was fun and I enjoyed it. I like the simplistic graphics and the simple charm like the particles and carriage inflating when full are great at making the game feel polished. I have a few comments for areas that I reckon might be worth focussing on if you want to take it post-jam. Please don't take these comments as me disliking it, its a great jam entry! - It does seem like there is a bug when you get to three passengers that the game loses track of where they are supposed to go and you can never drop them off. I had to restart the game a few times so if this was a feature it would be good to make it more obvious. - The map in the bottom right is very difficult to see (at least on a 1080p screen). It would be good if it (Or at least the station letters) were bigger so that you could more easily find your footing in the level. - It would be nice if the current path around the map was lit up. It feels like this was the intention but maybe there wasn't time? It would be great for feedback! - Ofc sound is always nice, but ofc we always cut it when we run out of time ;) Nice game! :)

Nice concept! It seems there is no winning condition yet, but I had fun playing with it and looking at it. It's nice how the train gets bigger when it gets fuller. :train2: It seems like at some point it doesn't give you destinations anymore, so I always got stuck there, with the queus of people getting bigger and bigger. I found it a bit puzzling at first how the switches worked, because I didn't see a visual result (other than the switch itself). Maybe it's an idea to move the switches to the minimap to the place where the are, and then highlighting which route we currently take? Although it is very nice to follow the train up close, it felt a bit disorienting, with the station names flashing by. Good job!

I really loved the game. Simple and straightforward controls, which respond very well. I loved the minimalist look, it really looks like a map, it was perfect within the premise of the game. A very original implementation for the theme. I will definitely play again, congratulations!
