@gamurmakesgems have you tried using the mouse?
Suffered from a few FPS problems, but it looks nice with the bloom.
I could rotate the camera using the mouse; but I had to click on the game first.
It's cool and the camera did work. just needed to click first, it would benefit massively from sounds and sound effects, and I think the bloom needs to be reduced a bit. The segment near the end tells you to use the wall, but you don't need to as you have so much HP anyway.
Overall though it is decent.
I really liked the game! It's a nice and relaxing 3D platformer. The graphics are super awesome and the level design is also well implemented.
Good job! :)
Unfortunately, the game seems to freeze within a minute of starting to play for me and I need to use Task Manager to close it. I tried 4 times and each time it froze at a different spot, but always very quickly. As such I have not rated it. Sorry!
I enjoyed the level design. Like @whatnamegames says, the bloom was maybe a bit overdone - but it does fit the overall aesthetic. The frequent checkpoints were appreciated.
Some sound and music would have really pushed this to the next level - good job overall.
Nice! Solid little 3d platformer. I'm not sure if I've seen a platformer with mouselook like this, but it works well here. Movement felt a little bit sluggish but otherwise the gameplay was pretty fun. The text explanations are pretty helpful, though the first couple go pretty fast if you're walking at full speed, and some of the later ones maybe weren't super necessary, ie maybe let the player figure out the wall part on their own. Still pretty cool experience overall, nice work!
Nice little game. good use of emission. Well done.
Hey, thanks for the puzzles, I enjoyed the rotating platform jumping. Saved the planet!
A simple and okay little jam game. I like the graphics, but the bloom effect was perhaps used a bit too much. This is a classic UE4 gameplay idea, and that is okay, but I would have liked too see something new. Overall is this an okay jam game.
Graphics are pleasing. The game is much shorter than I expected. I was thinking the whole game was the first level that explains a few mechanics, then there'd be at least one more level. But that's game jam games!
Nice platforms. Short game, but in such a short time and alone it's impressive. I could have used a feedback when you are hurt, but overall well done.
Holy bloom Batman, that was bloomy :D The spinning platforms made me a bit sick, and navigating them was a pain (since you were spinning with the platform). Nice package anyway! Short and sweet.
Its a fun platformer. I guess it could use some improvements with pacing, especially at the beginning. I found the challenges fun and unique, but they could have been explored a bit more instead of just one time challenges. Good job.
Oh man, I'm sorry but it didn't work in my computer =/

Very bloomy indeed! Agree that the spinning platform was slightly tricky, but it didn't take too long to figure out.
The last moment right at the end where I had to pick up the item and insert it into the reactor vividly reminded me of ALIEN-8 - after seeing your entry I would definitely do loads of bloom if I ever tried to remake that!

Yay, another unreal game, always happy to see more games made in UE4. Also, I see you forgot to turn off the debug for the sphere trace used for the pickup .
It was a really well made game. The in-game tutorial was really nice. love the level design and the shooting thingies. Sounds FX would've made it so much better, but hey it's a compo game, who's got time for sound FX.
Just a Tip if you don't mind :
The movement was good, but jump felt a little floaty. By default Unreal's gravity is set to real world gravity, but it's not that great for arcade style games like these. Doubling the gravity would help the jump feel more controllable and snappy, but this will reduce the jump height, so you would have to double that too. player Gravity and MaxJumpHeight can be adjusted in the Character Movement component in the player pawn if you used that. I have gravity set to 3 times the default value in my game.
Overall it was a really fun and well made game, Great Job
Really well crafted game. Could definitely use some sound effects and music. I also didn't immediately figure out that the camera orbit was controllable. Maybe it'd be better to start the game with the camera behind the player as that might have prompted me to try moving the mouse like other third-person games that put the camera there. Otherwise, great little experience, and I'd love to see it expanded on.

A narrativa é simples e direta.
Analysis...
1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow: The three-dimensional action game is very interesting. I really enjoyed finding check-points in most of the game (I believe that the final session without having check-points was intended to provide a final challenge). Learning to play was also fast, jumping, interacting and moving. I thought it was a little strange to have an object that becomes visible when trying to interact, but it is good that we have feedback that tried to interact in some way (I think I would prefer it if it was audible feedback). Anyway, it was very easy to learn to play. In addition, the game flow was also good; it seemed appropriate and well balanced.
2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative: I found the graphics beautiful, they manage to transmit the necessary (considering even more that the event time is short). Congratulations. I missed the sound part, I would like to see an implementation that matches. It is as a request in case the project continues. The narrative is simple and straightforward. I would like to see a polished version with something stronger in this regard.
3 - Culture: Culturally, the game is an interesting piece of adventure game, also referring to human mobility challenges (very common in some television shows). Because of this reference, I ended up laughing a little, in addition to feeling challenged.
4 - Monetization: I think the game would need many stages and perhaps a competing form of multiplayer, in the racing style; I believe it would be even funnier and could sell in stores like itch.io or even Steam (in case of content extension, polishing and other adjustments).
Even though it was lagging and stuttering quite a bit, I still managed to enjoy it enough to complete.
Controls were pretty smooth - moving, turning and jumping all felt alright. Same with the camera - it was smooth enough to not mess with the game experience, and whatever the default sensitivity was it worked well for me. Usually we take this for granted, but playing LudumDare games made me notice that it is not a trivial thing to make good mouse controls.
Really nice and consistent graphics.
Gameplay challenges were simple but balanced and satisfying to overcome.
Also appreciated the clear in game tutorials (The "be patient" one actually really helped) and checkpoints.
