Really cool idea. Was a bit confused in the beggining as to what I had to do but I figured it out eventaully. Sadly all the planets went a extinct a little bit too fast. One thing I didn't understand it's purpose was the rocket camera, were those rockets that attacked other planets ?

Very complex game for a game jam! The graphics are awesome and the idea is great.

It reminds me “Spore”, a little. Nice polishing, from the game to the menus!

Good job.

This is one of the most ambitious entries I've seen, yet it is not just an unfinished idea: this feels complete, playable, I enjoyed it a lot!

The graphics are wonderful, they match perfectly and the audio just gives that ominous atmosphere a bit more of spiciness.

I didn't manage to play it through, though. Just after a minute one of the exterior planets was at the edge of extinction and I got really nervous.

Very solid entry, you should be proud! Congrats!

Thank you guys for the very kind words!

Definitely not perfectly balanced but really compelling. Had fun even just playing that bit.

Not very good at this game but had fun for the duration I played. :D

It would be nice if the game would start a little bit slower and ramp up over time, sadly with sometimes there being 8 or so rockets in the first minute or so it is really hard to get a grip on what is actually going on.

The graphics and the idea is nice. Though it is really hard to get to a point where you actually understand why and what is happening.

Wow these aliens on the planets are worse at managing their resources than us humans :D They always waste everything. Can't you teach them sustainability lol :D

Had Fun Playing this for a while. I managed to keep two planets alive for a long time then I got bored. Some end to the game would be cool

Interesting entry pal, graphics are really nice keep it up !

It's pretty difficult at the beginning, I started it multiple times, but when I figured out what's going on, it seems to be a very complex and entertaining game :D the visuals are awesome, nice work for such short jam! ;)

Good job for the jam game, the mechanics are nice and seem complex. The difficulty ramps up way too fast though, you eventually won't be able to transfer resources fast enough.

After about 5 minutes of gameplay, there was about 40 or 50 rockets, and planets going critical real fast. That was the moment I knew I'm doomed.

Keep up the good work!

This was pretty neat! The graphics were really nice, and the transitions and animations were all smooth.

I had a lot of difficulty at the start figuring out what to do, since the tutorial was minimal and left me with a lot of icons I didn't understand. In the future, I think maybe some hover-over what is text or a more extensive tutorial would help a lot.

Some of the planets also had the same name, which was a little confusing, especially when watching the rocket cam.

It's definitely a challenging management game, I hope you build on it further! Nice work!

(Also, thanks for doing a MacOS build!)

Solid entry and a very ambitious game for LD.

I didn't get it why planets go into extintion, and how to reverse (if possible) the process.

It probably need more balancing and a longer tutorial, but other then that a great game

Very great concept for a gamejam! I'm not sure how machine parts and plants can influence the planets, nor if I should keep both resoueces equal, but all my planets got into the Extinction phase.

swanijam 2019-10-17 00:34

Really cool concept! It's like being a little planets-parent and keeping them all from hurting each other/themselves while they grow up. Great art too :D
