This made me laugh, great take on the theme good job

foo-squashed-games 2019-10-08 06:32

Nice game, I really like the idea, but it's too clicker-ish imo

tohubohu 2019-10-08 06:35

I really liked the atmosphere of this game, the font choices, and the idea that you were collecting RGB bits of color to build things in the game universe. I ended up buying the wallpaper, and I could definitely see this game being even cooler with more development time. Understandably, given the time constraints, it was cut short, but I would play a longer version of this (hopefully with the ability to auto-click at some point... hahah). Congratulations on the submission!

vovin 2019-10-08 06:38

This might be my favorite fill-the-screen-with-red-! simulator. Unfortunately, I got stuck after getting the shop because the text would not advance afterwards.

geoff-nagy 2019-10-08 06:39

This was a clever game. The music is soothing and sets a nice mood. There was also some subtle humour in the captions up top, which made it enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to add some mechanic for collecting pixels automatically over time, as opposed to have to click all the time to get the wallpaper ending.

mira 2019-10-08 06:51

I like it...Its was annoying click thousands time but after all i was sad because game was over. I wish there were more in game!

nek 2019-10-08 07:32

Loved your use of the theme, my only criticism is the lack of an audio button or slider bothered me somewhat but great game overall.

konomizure 2019-10-08 12:09

There actually was an "auto-click" in the game, but i removed it because my code was all messy and all (it still is, and i will probably take my time to remake the game, and make it bigger. I really like clicker/idle games, so i think a game like that with an interesting story behind it, would be pretty cool. I even have a lot of other ideas for this game that are a lot more complex to develop, and i don't even know if i really will make them, but i will try to make this game into something more "finished" in the future. Thank you everyone for the replies, i'm really happy that you enjoyed the game!

Also, @vovin, you can advance the game until the point you buy the wallpaper, but after that, there is no game. There is a time when you buy the shop that the text doesn't disappear because it is the last line of text that i have. But you can still progress by buying pixel containers to increase the amount of colors you can have, until you are able to buy the wallpaper.

namnam 2019-10-08 12:38

Kinda hate you, kinda had fun. Funny use of the them and interesting entry about wasting time.

konomizure 2019-10-08 12:49

@namnam sorry, the game is just too small, i didn't had much time to try making the game time efficient and not too easy. so i just let it be with the first numbers that i put on the game.

namnam 2019-10-08 12:57

@konomizure Oh that wasn't suppose to be a harsh comment, I liked the fact that the game is mean to us and offer us meaningless interaction for meaningless reward, found it funny :) .

konomizure 2019-10-08 13:03

@namnam Oh, i didn't think it as a harsh comment, i was just giving a half-assed excuse as a joke for my laziness because changing some numbers are not that difficult in a game that small. Like "Whatever, i just let the first numbers that i put stay the same, sorry not sorry"

konomizure 2019-10-08 13:10

@namnam also, that time wasting for me wasn't that bad, like... i played my own game at least a few times... so i didn't take it to heart or anything, i saw that you where joking, i just am not a main speaker of english, and sometimes i express myself not so well. ANYWAYS, thank you for the comment. :P

catusfelony 2019-10-08 13:43

A beautiful landscape announces the end times written in the sky in blood red.

dumivid 2019-10-08 13:50

The game is curios to play and have a good pace at the beginning, but it becomes tedious too fast. I think the best way to improve your game is to let the narrator tell a long story when it comes to 1000 clicks segments. Even if the player doesn't enjoy clicking, at least he can read what "God" has to say and would want to know "the end" of the whole adventure. I don't think you have to compromise anything else, overall a nice entry, good work.

konomizure 2019-10-08 18:04

@catusfelony It took me a while to understand what that was supposed to mean, then i get it. HAHA. Nice one.

@dumivid Hmm, nice idea, but i can't think of a cool story to tell the players, is not my forte, u know...

dumivid 2019-10-08 18:09

@konomizure Maybe you can consider this as a very good opportunity to learn something new.

bryvox 2019-10-11 03:10

This was cool! I like clicker games and dig the style you put into this one. The music choice was really nice as well. Good use of the theme and I'd be curious to check it out again if you develop it further. Great work :)

navrcl 2019-10-11 07:07

Very clever use of the theme.

lonewolfdev 2019-10-11 07:41

Nice idea! I like games that break the 4th walll! Just as they said, so much clicking... But good one anyway!

ausstein 2019-10-11 12:24

Yes another clicker game! I don't know how many I have seen this LD. I mus admit that I had that Idea as well, because it's a straight forward interpretation of the theme. But I decided for something else. But there should really be some sort of auto click. clicking for a total of 350 times for the wallpaper in the end is just not fun anymore... I liked the Audio :)

mateusboga 2019-10-11 12:32

This was very interesting, I just wish there was more to it than just clicking though. Good job nonetheless!

alicecrd 2019-10-11 12:40

Funny game and a very interisting idea, my finger is so tired :')

sprngr 2019-10-11 12:44

Great use of the theme. Wasn't expecting it to turn into a clicker. Good job!

kuviman 2019-10-11 13:23

Nice art :)

atraxgames 2019-10-12 09:09

This is indeed similar to my entry and I enjoyed it a lot. If you have the possibility, develop it more!

carpin 2019-10-12 11:17

Hey! What a good and simple game, I liked the concept and the art, fits the theme, good job in overall

drakeno 2019-10-12 11:19

Simple and fun. I liked it, maybe some more visual feedback would have been nice!

konomizure 2019-10-12 14:40

@Drakeno What do you mean by more visual feedback? I thought about adding screen shake for more intense dialog, but not anything else.

dans17 2019-10-13 14:28

Nice idea and use of the theme, but clicking repeatedly to get more pixels quickly became tedious. I would recommend making more of a challenge out of it, maybe by having the RGB pixels floating around the screen so that you would have to catch them.

konomizure 2019-10-13 23:00

@dans17, ooooh, interesting idea! Maybe i will do something like that!

dongle 2019-10-23 18:35

Pretty cool take on the theme, the music was really awesome too. It did get a little repetitive but not bad.
