The graphics are really fitting for this sort of game. The dialogue is fairly well written and the story is nice. Very solid and polished entry!

Nice job. drawings are awesome, story too. Just need a bit more sound: music and interaction-noise.
Really nice game, the overall feel of the game is really good. Great job
Great dialogue and artwork. It was great exploring the place, while i can - has a bit of a mystery vibe to it. The only suggestion I have is to increase the font size at the end. I'll play again to get all the different endings.
Great game!
Idea for improvement: * Option to tell the other hostages about the backdoor exit, so they can all flee
Bugs I found: * You can take the brandy from the cupboard multiple times. * The Mayor gets shot even though he is still hiding in the closet because i did not snitch. * The music stopped while playing the game.
Tango is a bad bad man. I enjoyed the black and white graphics and felt it suited the story pretty well. The story was engaging and well done. Unfortunately everyone died during the swat raid. Well done!
Thanks everyone for the feedback ! Glad you liked it !
@jeremia indeed we wanted to add that ending but we didn't have enough time unfortunately. Thanks for noting the bugs, we were already aware of these three specific ones, just like the ending we ran out of time (or noticed to late). However we might make a post-jam patched build.
I can“t believe you made this game in a single weekend! You end up empathizing with the characters and actually felt bad for the ones who died at the end, even for the robbers. Great job!
@jutjuan thanks a lot, that was a heartwarming comment !
Love it! The hand-drawn art style really works for the old-school throwback theme you're going for. I like how all the characters have pretty distinct personalities (I've no qualms betraying a coward!!), and that you've written a good bit a dialogue for all of them. Hopefully the other two in the head office get their due at some point!
Also, if you fix the brandy bug, please fix it by coming up with an in-lore justification for there being infinite brandy in the cupboard. That's really the only valid solution.
I loved the art style and even if I thought it was a lake of a little move animation, after some minutes playing I totally forget that detail and was absorb by that game, good job :)
This is one of my favorite jam games so far! It's rare to see a story-based game like this in a game jam. Some of the art could use some polish but the portraits are great since because they convey a lot of personality. I want to find all the endings... I hope there's one where we can all get a happy ending but I have the feeling that won't be possible.
Loved the artwork, characters and dialogs. Great job!
Thanks for the kind words everyone ! I'm happy you guys think that the art and dialogues give personality to the characters :)
@jjjjason there's of course a very good lore reason for this, the cupboard links to drunken narnia and Cathy uses it as her stash in case of nuclear winter
@rose there's a 'happier' ending in the 4 (it's also the hardest to unlock), don't know if that counts
Great art and atmosphere in this game, nice dialogue too! The timer really puts pressure on you, making you consider leaving just by yourself.
One thing I'd change is to make the dialogue options be selectable via keyboard, because you never use the mouse in the other parts of the game - just a minor feedback. Good job!
It is a quite nice game, but I really felt like it needed some simple animations for a better experience. Anyhow, it has darn nice story, and I do know how hard it is to create a good story in such a short time! Good job.
sic game bro
@ashtrail This is going to end up being one of those weird visual novels where most routes are like five minutes long, but if you choose the hide-in-the-narnia-closet route it goes for like forty hours.
the art is really really nice guys , good work
@tiagorrech Thanks for the feedback ! We wanted to be able to play only with the keyboard too. I fact it's a bug we did not manage to fix in time :(
@jjjjason it makes sense, after all times goes by a lot faster inside narnia (even if in drunken narnia it's mostly haziness and black outs :P )
I really enjoyed this! I've yet to survive, but I love the characters and the setting. The graphics are unique and cute as well. Nice job with this! Hope to see more. :)
Nice entry! Very nice that there are multiple outcomes! The graphics and the music carry the athmosphere of the game quite effectively. The dialogues are well written and gave the characters a nice depth! The bank director had a cool noire, detective style to him. Really great work, espeacially when you consider your limited timeframe!
I don't feel bad about escaping through the basement. Sorry, everyone else.
