Loved it! the powers on the side are a really nice touch, and the subjet is on spot because you want to use your own life to attack sometimes, anyway have a good evening!

This is great, I had a fun time playing this. I loved the music as well.
Really fun to play. Awesome. One of the few games where the music didn't get annoying after 5 sec.
I played with my friend and had a good time. There was obviously a lot of thought put into the different pieces and where they were positioned, although the jumping one seemed a little overpowered.
@boxedmeatrevolution Thank you! If I may ask did you play a whole game? How long did it last?
@devin We played three times! Each was longer than the last (a good sign), though first player always won. I don't think we fully appreciated all the abilities: Most of the time "ping" seemed like the obvious choice. But we were developing strategies and could feel that there was depth to the game
@boxedmeatrevolution haha yeah, definitely tough to balance something in such little time. Hopefully we can polish the project a bit more to round things out better. Thanks for playing! Your game came out great as well!
EDIT: accidentally commented twice.
Please, create a linux build! :)
Nice game. It need a bit more polish, but the ideas are really good. Congrats
@sarneh right now I'm working on some post-jam polishing as well as networked multiplayer. This will likely be released as webgl but if it isn't I'll be sure to make a linux build for you!
I wish there was some AI to play against, but I really dig the concept! Loved the unique pieces and how there were tough decisions to make for every move.
Would be nice if there was AI, even if it just made random moves. Interesting concept, but I didn't really understand what was happening at first.
Looks great, sounds great, cool aesthetic, and some interesting mechanics. It wasn't obvious who's turn it was, which moves were going to hurt/heal and if it would affect allies. However, I like the unique moves of each piece and the way you can use spells to enable plays or avoid taking damage. A very great idea and a good job!
I really like this game. You did very good job with graphics and sound. It's really cool that your moves can not only hurt your opponents but your allies as well. Also, UI sliders for volume look really good. It's nice when UI fits into the environment. One bug that I did noticed though is that turns counter goes up every time you click pass, I think it should go up only when both players finish their turn. But, whatever, this isn't that big of a deal.
Holy shit this is awesome! ^D^
I just like the whole idea of it. I don't know what to add really... Though I would remove the cheap shot spell. I feel that there are better ways to do a damage spell. Like a fire ball or something that moves every turn, burning anything it touches.
I finally killed all of one of the colors and nothing happened, I feel like I'm missing something. I surmised it was supposed to be 2 player but there wasn't any feedback of a winner.
A very neat, chess-like game where you control pieces with their own movement style and can use the loss of one to your benefit through points. Each point can be used for a series of abilities that can aid you by affecting the battlefield or dealing damage.
This was a neat rendition of the theme, seems pretty polished and is fun if you have two players to play with. An AI would have been neat for solo players, but only so much you can do in a jam. I thought the UI being a part of the game world was a neat decision. The music is rather peaceful and gives space for some deep strategic thinking. The gameplay between pieces has some effects which could benefit from being more punctuated, the healing piece however seems very well done. A solid entry into the jam. 4.0 overall score!
I like the graphics and concept. I played against myself, but nothing happened even when there was only one piece of one color left, and somehow I killed myself with spells. I didn't end up using spells until after the other color died, so I'm confused about the win state. Also was never sure whose turn it was.
Great feel. The music adds a lot. Also, LOVE the volume sliders in the corner. I could see getting really into the strategy of this game with a friend. Thanks for putting this up!
The game is fun! I'm not quite sure how it fits theme (if you went for it). It really needs some AI and a bit of polishing. Also couldn't really use the spells and wasn't completely sure who's turn was it. Besides that, seems well thought and units are cool and look balanced! Multiplayer would be awesome too.
@webox Glad you liked it, your units deaths give you currency for spells (That's the way we used the theme). We tried to do online multiplayer but it ended up being a real struggle to get working properly.
Really love this concept. Just missing some better feedback and some way to play against an AI. I love the Rift spell, it seems so disruptive. Would like to see some asymmetry by allowing players to place their units, or even choose the types of units they want to use (i.e. take multiple of one kind in favor of another kind). Or limit the amount of times you can use a spell so one doesn't just always ping. (which seems kinda strong compared to the other spells)
Brilliant soundtrack, brilliant Sfx! I could only play against myself and it was some trial and error to get the abilities but this seems to be quite interesting, playing against another human.
Awsome game, but hard to play alone  ..I liked the music and sfx a lot. A bit more of a hint whose turn it is would be nice though. Well done!
This game is the absolute beans.
