...I have no idea what I just played, but it looks and sounds really great! :D
its kinda weird but i got the idea at the end :D maybe its not what you wanted but its not as bad as you think it is, just needs to figure something out but overall did not disappoint and goodjob! ^_^
If y'all could say how many waves you got, I would really appreciate it!
I'm really not sure what I just played, but I had fun playing it. The colors hurt my eyes though until I got to black and white or the purple. Might be something to look into.
I'm not sure which wave number it was, but I got to where the larger cube throws out smaller cubes and couldn't get past it.
This is a super weird game, but I really enjoyed it. The color effects were super sweet and I like the ability to change palettes to something more or less extreme. As I played I found myself throwing the scarf in different ways and finding cool ways of protecting myself. It's nothing super complex, but I could feel myself getting better at the game as I played, which is always fun. The music is weird and I think I would find it abrasive in most other contexts, but in this game it feels right for some reason.
@sefrz i realized too late that it might hurt peoples eyes, but the second to last (orange to white) and last (red and yellow) should be softer on the eyes.
I liked the music more than I had any business doing lol, that dissonant loop was actually addictive. It was pretty fun, the graphic style and shaders were cool.
Schkarf schkarf.
I like the gameplay! It's an interesting take on the bullet hell and shooter genre, kinda. You just point and "spray bullets" at enemies and they die while you dodge their attacks. Learn more about shaders and watch out for those nasty shader and fps and resolution compatibility issues!
interesting game, felt like i was playing it on an old TV. Good entry
This game was kinda weird, I enjoyed it but the graphics almost burned my eyes at some point, there are some color combinations that just doesn't work, also I'd consider removing this postprocessing effect from the UI to make it more readable
This was a very different styled game. And that's awesome! I'm not really understanding how the theme fits with the game, but the visuals and music were great. I wish that the controls were a little different, perhaps using a tank-turrent method, where you use W for forward, S for backwards, and rotate with A and D, and use the mouse to aim with a turrent that independent of the tank. Otherwise, it was really fun!
What the hell did I just played.. haha.. Nice shaders, loved the dittering effect. I wasn't completely sure of what ia was doing but it was interesting. Nice job!
First thought was there's something wrong with the opengl driver or such. What a cool style that is! The gameplay was fun and solid but yeah, visual representation was king on this one :)
Nice visual style! I also liked the music. The gameplay confused me at first but at the and i had a lot of fun. Nice game.
Woooow.. What the ... ;) Hard on the eyes, but liked it. Especially when you start getting to comfortable and don't move very much the shooting starts, and the huge cubes.. Nice.. Strange, but I like it. :D Nice work.
Very trippy art style... i like it. I don't really get how it fits the theme though. It's a very unique concept, i would be interested to see what you can make of it.
Wow, very weird but also very cool artstyle. I wonder how you made that. The gameplay was fun. I think it would be even better if there would be a counter or something to know how many waves the played has survived. Or maybe change the colors everytime a wave is cleared. I played two times and the two big cubes allways got me. ^^ There is also a big variety of colors and enemies. Great job!
One of the more unique games I've played this Ludum Dare. I enjoyed it, looks good and I liked the sound. Some feedback for when you were hitting the enemies or being hit would have been nice. Really cool entry.
It looks kind of cool but I did not quite get a grasp on the gameplay. ..but was fun nevertheless.
I have no idea what it is but the graphics are cool
