Nice graphics, the character animation seems very fleshed out. Most of the music is of equal quality but many of the sound effects were repetitive or obnoxious but overall, the audio was outstanding, and really suited the mood. Some of the hitboxes seemed a bit strange, especially the ones in the environment, as projectiles would often hit the wrong things. There was also the possibility for projectiles to explode the moment they were shot, which feels strange, but ultimately the defensive mechanics fit well and are quite fun! Overall a great game; keep developing!

I ran into a game breaking bug after round 2 (screenshot below). The game itself was pretty fun, although I had a lot of difficulties with hit boxes on throwing the elves (it would tend to hit random obstacles when I felt like it shouldn't). I also couldn't really tell what was going on with assigning the elves to the workshop.

Very thorough tutorial in the beginning, I think that's a thing that can be overlooked in game jams. Nice work! :) That also goes for the menu which has been properly implemented.

I found a bug that stopped me from being able to play, it gets stuck when a grinch explodes. It is most likely to happen when it tries to steal gifts, so maybe some kind of state variable in the collider callback? Hmm

I bet it's the grinches fault, damn grinches!

Let me know if you've fixed it and I'll try again. :)

Christmas is love and preventing the creatures from stealing presents is the best thing you can do in a game, not to mention throwing elves in order to acheive your goal haha

I really loved the music, it was fantastic and the art and mood was also really good. The hit boxes where a bit wonky and I had the same infinit present bug as above. Great first LD game.

Hi there. Playing laptop with track pad. Got to round 4. Had an issue were shooting an elf straight up seemed to explode on Santa. Easy to understand, clear goals. Good job.

Overall I really enjoyed this. I also came across the game breaking game of the elf exploding forever but I also somehow ended up with 242/10 presents after Rudolph came by and I was a bit confused by that. Other than that I had little to know trouble. I like it a lot!

I had the same bug as the person above, two Grinches in a pool of blood and nothing happened after. Tutorial is indeed a bit overwhelming, and I think the theme is not 100% fulfilled because you could replace elfes with anything, bullets, magic... Still, graphics and mood are top notch for a jam game. If you polish it more on the gameplay side, I think it would be perfect!
