Wow, was surprised by how good it was. A little confusing intro, but once you start sorting souls, you just can't stop!

You need more ratings! You should play and rate other games.
Your game is really nice and has a very special mood. I had some strong "Papers, please" vibes while playing. The music is really relaxing, and the 2D-3D combination is done really well. Great game, but you need to rate more games to have more ratings yourself!
Wow, the atmosphere was so intense, as so were the dilemmas. At the beggining I've got surprised for the 3d graphics: simple, but with the introduction it was stunning.
Well done :)
@lomikstik Thanks! :D :dove:
@mrsylar59 Thanks so much! I didn't have time over the last two days to play 'n' rate, but now I'm free, and it's time to play like a madman! :D
@dragojt Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it :dove:
I liked the atmosphere a lot! The graphics were simple but I'm a fan of the billboard-type of sprites in a 3d world.
I wish all of the descriptions had clarifications attached to them. For example, "Kicked a stray dog" was clarified that the dog attacked first while "Killed a man" sometimes didn't have a clarification (could be wrong on Killed a man but you get the point). Also, I wish the disembodied voice would talk faster, but that's just me.
Overall, I liked the kind of backstories these characters kind of have where not everything is necessarily as they seem.
Such a calm and... uneasy feeling playing this game. It's a kinda sad game ! Nicely crafted mood ! Overall, great game ! You definitely need more ratings !
@fakefirefly Thanks for playing and commenting! :) The list of deeds are randomly generated and sometimes they won't have a description, but for some of them like "Killed a man", yes, I agree, perhaps always having a description would be better.
@raivk Thank you! :) :dove:
Wow wow wow I am feeling some feelings right now. Excellent mood - the slow pace makes you really feel the weight of your decisions ("was I right to let that guy through even though he kicked a DAWG!?!"). I really like the conciseness of this game - just a simple but interesting little gem 💎
Who is Shite Darian and why did he go to school at 40 years old? XD
I really liked it. I love the 2D-3D style and remembered me a lot to "Papers Please". I love multiple ending games and I will try to get all,
Really good game! The mood is awesome, I can't find the third ending =(
Hey, nice game, the music and graphics work very well together.
The eery voice reminds me of Shadow of the colossus.
Good job.
I wouldn't say I had "fun" in the true sense of the word but it was an interesting experience. If that is what you were going for, that's great.
If you wanted to provide a more traditional game experience, maybe have some in game consequences for all the choices/actions?
It's definitely an interesting idea though, it just needs something that would separate it from "Papers, Please" which it seems heavily influenced by. (Maybe consider mentioning that in the description as well :smile:)
The mood building was great too. Loved the simple, white background and eerie music.
@mediyaz thanks dawg! :D
@zuhairghias hahah :D random generator at its best!
@nuriko55 Thanks! Yep, Papers, Please was one of the inspirations!
@monetai Hmm hmm it might be difficult to get the third one if you don't know what it is, but basically, it will happen if you reject too many good souls.
@eptwalabha Thanks! :dove:
@yashmakesgames Hey, thanks for the feedback! As you mentioned, I was going more for of an "experience" than "fun" in a traditional sense. The only feedback for your choices (as you're making them) is the voice telling you if you chose well or not, but yes, there's definitively more room there for immediate consequences and feedback for the player.
Nice job! Really liked the story and art, reminded me of Papers Please :)
i loved the idea and the game. nicely done
Holy sh** That was awesome! Wasn't expecting such a deep thing from this theme but i guess someone had to involve death itself! i'm not gonna try and psychologically evaluate this but i will say that's awesome use of choice and simple graphics. far closer to an experience but a nice take on the whole "Papers please" concept.
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
I think your game is really great ! A good take on PapersPlease kind of game, except your one opted for a more divine and philosophical mood. Audio suits well, art is really good (I really like the character, really cute design :D!), and game is easily understandable. I think you could lower a bit the sound of the door, it's really high ! Also I found it a bit tedious to always have God commenting my actions, kinda slow down the process and gets redundant. This is a really smooth and good take on the theme, I like the mood you wanted on this game. It is really peaceful, yet the music reminds us that this peace comes with a prize and a choice. Thanks for this experience, and indeed, game aren't always supposed to be fun - They also need to question our motivates. Cheers and good job !
This is a humble Paper Please-like game, with poor graphics. Many bugs here to fix : there is an "invisible text" you can see, usualy about the gatekeeper "ade-something". There is also an important incoherence betweeen the text the voice says and what you've done and it all turn to be absurd. The music is also too repetitive and i get bored really fast because of the whole repetitive and *seems-to-be* useless task to do. If you have the time, take a look on how to improve your game. The idea is still not that bad, but needs to be rethink a little more especially about the gameplay (and not to have one that already exists) and i'm sure you can also use a bit more the game art to create a better flow and game experience.
Is the title supposed to mean "revenge door" in Norwegian? Or is it just a fancy way of writing "heaven's door" in a phonetic quasi-English?
I like the game idea! :)
