This is a super neat concept-- and it matches the theme quite well! :)

Thought it was pretty cool - music was awesome and the graphic style was a highlight for me. Gameplay was fun for one playthrough but felt it didn't have enough depth for me to want to play more than once (maybe I missed some advanced strategies though with the dash and stomp). Still, the style and concept feels like it could be developed into a pretty fun and cool looking game!

sohakes 2018-08-14 05:33

Cool game. The concept is really cool, and the parcels do sometimes fall neatly into the shelves, I like it.

The graphics are also good, kinda funny/cartoonish, fits well the style of the game. Given the arena, the music fits too.

It does get frustrating when the walls are too high, but I guess that is the idea. I also didn't find any use for the dash (it's not really faster than walking I think), it would be cool if it did something to the parcels too.

The concept is pretty interesting. I'd call it a documentary of the mail storage room where they trash all our mail.

hdmmy 2018-08-14 05:47

Music and the concept is so good!

pierre-avinain 2018-08-14 08:55

Very beautiful graphics !

thomas-olsson 2018-08-14 09:10

I feel like you had something in mind that you did not have time to develop much. I'm sure there is something to do with these gameplay elements and objectives ! Good job finishing the game

rido 2018-08-14 09:10

Unexpected, nice graphics and idea!

araklaj 2018-08-14 09:31

@thomas-olsson Thanks, and indeed! We had plans for more package types, like exploding/time limited ones, and more focus on the vertical gameplay (thus dash mechanic), allowing player walljump between shelves and packages. However, due to time limit we had to stick to the minimal viable product, maybe it's something for later :)

I actually love this, good concept but excellent execution. Really fun and entertaining theme. Would love to see your other ideas implemented in a later version.

Good job finishing and making this great realistic warehouse simulator.

inworks 2018-08-14 12:30

This is a very nice take one the theme and i would like to see how this get developed further.

fullmontis 2018-08-14 12:39

This game is a ton of fun despite how minimal it is in terms of gameplay. I really enjoyed playing through it, there is a primal satisfaction in kickng stuff away (which is why we probably got soccer in the first place, haha). The tune really sets a frantic mood. Overall, great job!

danielclarc 2018-08-15 02:33

That was fun! I've done 21 on my first run, and then discovered that you can aim upto kick the packages higher and oh boy, did that improved my performance hahahaha 44 was my record. Good job! Congratulations! :D

bram-ve 2018-08-15 06:57

@danielclarc I'm glad you enjoyed it! By the way you've got a higher score then i ever did, i only got to a mere 41 :D

acekugen 2018-08-15 08:12

I liked the idea of the game and the controls feels good as well

void-productions 2018-08-16 08:20

I Liked the music and concept.

rend 2018-08-16 11:31

A simple yet really fun game. I like the emergent stuffs happening with the physics. Also, the flip flops is a nice addition :D

poffle 2018-08-17 13:42

This was fun! I expected it to be fun from the screenshots and awful name and you guys didn't disappoint. The camera got a bit iffy when the fence was high and you needed to look up but other than that I had fun with this. Nice work!

mike-inprinciple 2018-08-18 23:18

I'm not sure why you decided the game needed a cage to come up over time. I think it would have been more interesting if the shelves would fill up and then maybe start to tip over from the weight or something. Because of the cage, I felt like my only option was aiming as high as possible, which made me stare at my character's low poly bottom and not be capable of seeing where I was going.

araklaj 2018-08-19 15:14

@mike-inprinciple Thanks for the feedback! You certainly have a point. We went with the cage as we needed an additional variable for more varying challenge, otherwise people would just play until shelves filled up, all getting roughly same score as all had same amount of space to play with.

There's of course other, maybe even better, ways to implement this element, such as different kinds of packages, worth different kinds of points, or tipping over when aimed badly, but due to the limited amount of time, we went with the cage.

stegobubbles 2018-08-20 07:48

Great idea for the game. I did not immediately understand what to do in the game, but when I figured out, I enjoyed it!)))

liven 2018-08-25 19:51

interesting, I wonder if an infinite straff on the right click would not be cool
