The concept was interesting and the game was quite fun, however after I ran out of plasteel I also ran out of options. This game has potential and I hope it can further expanded upon

Excellent idea, and good work with the presentation. The biggest problem I encountered was that I could never find enough hydrogen. Even when searching only for it, it was just a matter of time before I ran out and my run was over. I'm not sure how you could address that without a major shift to how the game works, but I feel like otherwise you have a pretty interesting concept here!

Wow, a tough game, but with good balancing for a LD. First I thought the most important thing is fuel fuel, then I discovered a shield is important, than I died of starvation... It keeps its tension the whole way, always afraid that something hits and destroys something on the inside to destroy the sweetspot once you have reached it.

Tried a several times but only made about 3/4 of the way.

Great game, I think this was the most addicting and fun game I played so far in this LD. Gratulations!

The economy system is rather sophisticated and really need some time to cope with. I still didn't quite figure out how to keep enought feul to travel since it seems always short of hydrogen...I admire all the details and tons of work in keeping everything busy in the game. The population, the resource processing workflow, the sparks when asteroids collide... It's just a big WOW. The music fits the game very well, too. Congrats!

Thanks for the feedback all!

@RockhopperGames The post release version I just uploaded should fix the constant hydrogen hunt problem. Thanks for pointing it out!

@gilborn When we set the path length to be as long as it is, we were afraid that people wouldn't even be able to reach halfway. It's a great relief to know that you managed to get 3/4 of the way through. Thanks :)

@Wizcas The hydrogen issues should be fixed with the new version, if you want to come back and have a second go :). Detail and polish were aspects we tried to focus on this time around, I'm glad it had such an effect on you.

Okay, trying the postjam version, that makes it a lot clearer how this was supposed to come together. I did have an issue with my humans cloning themselves until there was no way I could keep them fed, dying back down to a couple, then cloning themselves back up again, but apart from that odd cycle, I enjoyed the updated version

Wow, this was a really great game! The idea is unique, I haven't played a game like it before. It took me a while to figure out a good "metagame", but it was very satisfying once I figured out the best order for me to build my structures. I loved how taking damage took up space in your ship. I remember there was a point at which I had a ton of food in 1 storage unit, and I thought "I have this game beat!" and then an asteroid took out the square where my food storage was in, and suddenly I had to adapt. As my ship was filled with more unusable space, it was very fun to try and tetris my way around and find space for crucial structures. One thing I would have liked is if the game paused on the "tutorial" screen. There were times where I wanted to check what each structure did in the middle, but I'd have to either switch to the LD page, or accept that I'd take damage while I read the flowchart for the structures.

I have to admit, I died a ton while playing this game! I managed to make it to about 70% of the way to the end. I wasn't able to beat it, but I had a ton of fun playing it! Fantastic work!

Great feel and some excellent balancing. I found it particularly hard, but then this is not much more difficult than a run through FTL. I really enjoyed trying to keep all of my resources balanced, though I failed a number of times and ended up with too many people to feed. I feel like I could genuinely get better at this with time though, the artwork and music fit perfectly. Great work.

At first I think it's a FTL-like game, after I play I found it is not. It is really hard to me to keep the balance of resources and avoid aerolites. But I love this concept. Nice work!

A really difficult game which I would love to see balanced and worked on further after the jam. I like a lot of the elements, and the graphics are pretty nice. Great job!

Fantastic game! The concept is ultra original and the idea is well implemented. Although some resource harvesting utilities would come in super handy when running out of an specific material. Super cool entry!

Although confusing and overwhelming at first I cannot deny that this game has a great atmosphere backed up by a great idea and solid gameplay.

Nothing more to say here, polishes and gameplay testing will make this a great indie title.

Great job, congratulations :))

Do me a favor and rate my game as well if you can, it would help me out a lot :)

I really enjoyed the mechanics of this game once I understood what was going on. Unfortunately the game is going while the controls are displayed. I did finally get the gist of what was going on and was able to briefly balance, but not get very far. I kept ending up in hydrogen dead zones, even after many play throughs.

The music is very catchy. Overall I like the style of the graphics. But because of how small they are and that they can face different directions, it can be very hard to see what you have on the ship.

I do think the mechanics are interesting enough for potentially a very good game. Also, it's impressive how complex this game is for a jam. Nice job!

Wow, really great game, a bit hard and impenetrable but if it was more fleshed out and had a tutorial I would play the crap out of this. really polished and so detailed for the time frame. great style, great audio.
