Had issues with the web version working and other options beside .rar would be appreciated :) The game concept looks really cool tho!

Good entry and concept! I find it quite easy the level of dificulty and it seems that it doesn't have an ending. It kept me playing like 15-20 min so well done guys!

@ferrandu91 The end it's when you find the flare, and you use it to get rescued.

Really cool game, interesting concept and the game felt polished.

It was a little annoying being stuck without search or move cards though, having to just end the turn waiting to get that card. I would have preferred if move and search were abilities you could always use. The move ability could also be tuned slightly differently so it costs less AP when you only move a few squares.

A couple minor bugs I found, sometimes the zombies could hit me through a wall, and sometimes the medkits didn't work.

a little slow for me, a little bit annoying to have no moves available but was a good start to a bigger project. Good work! Would you mind reviewing my game? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ld41-jam-game

Neat concept, would like to see it fleshed out more. At one point I had two zombies coming at me ensuring my death, only to get stuck running into each other :P. Getting movement cards a bit more often than search cards would have been nice, though it did add to the tension when you rely on the luck of the next draw.

I liked the concept, good job. Although there are some options that I feel that we should be able to use every turn such as movement and search, otherwise the gameplay will stay quite slow. Although I do think it is an explorable concept, using the cards as actions for a turn-based game, the idea itself does have a lot of potential.

Good game, good really take this one further with more cards I think. I did manage to get the game into a broken state where I had enough AP to play cards but simply couldn't (could only end turn). Anyway, good entry!

The atmosphere of this was really engrossing - it felt creepy. I encountered a bug in the second cabin where no search card spawned even though search was labeled, but shooting and meleeing the zombies was really fun. Nice submission.

Ha, this was great! Creepy atmosphere, creepy audio, and a fun integration of card mechanics. Felt really well balanced. I liked the exploration element a lot. It ran pretty slow on my laptop, and seemed to get slower over time until it fell below 1 FPS and I had to throw in the towel. Really fun and well polished!

Well done guys! Although I encountered an issue ; when I was stuck in front of a zombie I couldn't move anymore. I have to pass my turn, and the next turn I could move. Also, when I have been hitting, all my actions were in red and I couldn't play anymore, I just had to let me die.

Very cool idea. A bit frustrating when you need a search card and none is dealt for multiple turns. It would also be nice to have some indication of where the extraction point is once you've set off the flare. Fun game though, very atmospheric.

Good job! I love the graphical style, and the atmosphere is really well done. The mechanics are great, and the gameplay is quite fun. I recommend opting out of humor because your game isn't funny enough to be worth staying in. There is a little humor in the card summaries, but it's not enough to justify leaving it in, especially since having a bad humor grade can drag your game's overall grade down as a whole!

Good job, and good luck!

Good game, felt a bit slow at times but I liked the sfx/general mood

That game was a pleasant surprise! It feels polished and also has great potential.

I like how the more stuff you carry, the less freedom of movement you will also have available, due to less movement cards in your hand.

I have faced 3 minor problems while playing though:

1- When I click a card, this card is used automatically. That means that the player can't change his mind after clicking a card.

2- I can use a card even when it's impossible to use it. For example, I can use a Search card even if I am far away from a searchable object. The same applies to melee attacks.

3- When a zombie touched me, it my character was pushed outside its grid, making it disaligned with the rest of the world.

Anyway, the game was really fun to play, the atmosphere was done just right and the grid feedback was very responsive and functional.

Congratulations on the entry!

The game's visuals are pretty well-made - to me the main problem is in pacine - the game is really slow and though the sound design is decent and reminds you you're playing on a map infested with zombies... beyond that you don't feel that threatened. And you have to take your time anyway because the turns are slow (when the ennemies are playing as well) and sometimes you have to skip a turn to wait for the right cards so the pacing's not really on par IMO - then there's the "search" card - I believe it would have been easier to enable searching the room and being able to search everything within a set radius - otherwise you gotta use a movement card, then a search card, then end your turn - then movement card again, then search card again, then end turn again - and that takes forever ^^# - anyhow the game is finished and not really bugged so good job - my advice is to think harder about how to make it more engaging next time - good job y'all :-D
