I wasn't totally sure what to do. I understood the turn based movement but as soon as I attacked someone it seemed like I was locked there until one of us died. I also wasn't sure what exactly happened on nightfall. Was I supposed to go back? I could see the idea you were going for though, and given a bit more time I'm guessing it would be pretty solid.
@logicon211 - The lock in mechanic was due to the fact I wanted to create path finding for the enemies and a aggro system but didn't have enough time to finish it. - Night fall dosen't really have any purpose at the moment as it bugged out , but it was meant to be used to disable the solar panels and enemies would spawn more but it was a 'lost' feature due to time constraints
Thanks for the constructive feedback!

Understandably, it's a little rough around the edges. Once I realized how to play though, I liked the idea of it. It was an interesting turn-based game. The only major complaints I would have are clunky movement and slow, intrusive text boxes. Other than that, I'd say it's an above average entry for sure. Well done.
@blueman Thanks for the feedback , I'll try and Improve on it in the futre~ Thanks for playing!

Cool game. I think there's a lot of promise here. I like the art, the roguelike aspect where you go fight guys and steal their loot, and where you have an economy and gear to buy, but as of now it has little challenge. A good start, though, and functions well. One note - the bandages never cost me $50 - it was always a lower price, around $15, but it didn't seem consistent.
I have some issues before i understand the mechanic. I wish it was everything faster. I think in the main characters as a retired Zangief with a lot of free time xD

** First Impression **: Nice a round based game for once :)
** Graphics **: Good Job on those, an different enemy sprite would have been nice tho :)
** Sound **: Sadly there was none, maybe next time you could include some soundeffects? when the user is walking? :)
** Gameplay **: Initially i had a hard time to grasp what is going on (maybe a tutorial would have been helpful?), after some trying i round i really like it (altough the fighting took a bit too long for my taste) :)
** Overall **: Great job with your jam entry, would like to see where your game goes in the future :)

This game taught me valuable life lessons: Kill people, Take their stuff, Build your business, Make a lot of exponentially-growing money, then you no longer need to kill people but you do it anyway since there is nothing else to do. Nice game, I enjoyed it. I would like to suggest making the fight shorter and making the game harder (may be a shorter day cycle would help).
I like the retro style of it and the brawler-rouge-like thing you've got going on! The combat definitely needs something, like the ability to block or do a special move. I'd also consider changing the controls to buttons or having the option, though I do appreciate you trying to innovate a little bit.
I think the concept and story is pretty cool. I've rated a bunch of games already and I personally haven't seen one about anarchy when there's no power (The Purge style almost). I definitely wish the combat was shorter because I was very scared to experiment as a result of that since death would be painful. Looks like this game was going to have some really cool places it was gonna go.
Very nice game. Congrats.
Cool and clever idea. It's kind of a rougelike, but, of course, not.
It's not totally clear what the goals are at first, so I had to come back to this page. Perhaps a little more clarification in-game?

Cool idea, however I think the game is a little slow. Combat takes a long time to do. I liked the graphical style and the game play other than the combat. Nice work, hope you expand on it!

Interesting concept! You've built a pretty solid foundation, with combat and health system, simple exploration, an inventory system, and a resource gathering loop. There is a lot of potential here!
Being able to use the keyboard to move would be a nice addition to the controls. Other than that, there is a lot of directions you can take this game in, if you make a post-LD version. For instance, the addition of a larger variety of objects (and different capabilities of enemies), combined with a larger or extra maps, could improve the exploration and combat elements. Auto-combat could be an alternative to not being able to leave the combat. And some music and/or sound could improve the mood.
On a technical note, I got "stuck" in the victory dialogue. The text-box kept repeating itself.
>Prowling the dark streets, >Wresting loot from enemies. >I *will* reach safe haven!
Great game! Confusing at first but once you get the hang of it, it's awesome! Keep it up!
