Nice idea and buildings AI was quite a step. Not sure while I was in the red team as I was green though.

i really don't know what is going on in this game :P
Fun setting and good use of the theme. I liked the AI of the other robots, which seemed to go and seek extra power when they needed it, or stay at their desk if you kept feeding them. I wasn't sure whether throwing things other than batteries (e.g. coffee mugs and other office equipment) had any effect, or what the cardboard boxes were for.
WebGL build was a bit too big for my monitor, had to scroll around to view the HUD
Sorry about that. I scaled it down a bit to 75% of 1080p
Great idea! I don't know if throwing stuff has any effect, I at least dont think it was clear enough. Nice job on the AI, that worked really well trying to keep them at their desk.
Thanks! Throwing things costs u 5 energy, them getting hit costs them 20, so you can use it to stop the other team from working. I had intended to add some feedback particles but forgot.
Didn't really understand what was happening. Couldn't throw objects after a while too.
Interesting idea. Didn't really feel like there was much point to helping either team. Might work better as a two player so that each person could help a different team and have a bit of competition at it. After a while all the AIs ran out of power, congregated around the battery drop, and then wasted all their gained energy throwing things at each other. I ended up having to just do all the actual work while everyone else goofed off...decent metaphor for real life I guess. :P Definite potential. As a side note, I was way too amused by the office chair physics.
This seems like a pretty dangerous work environment. I mean you've got open machinery, robots running around and throwing stuff at each other, and competing teams in the same location! I really like the AI running around and completing tasks to try and give their side an edge. I also thought the floating '1's and '0's when coding was a nice touch. Nice job!
Wasn't sure what team I was actually supposed to be a part of. I assumed it was the blue team because I started there but they threw stuff at me so I wasn't 100% sure.
Nice idea. However the AI seemed a bit weird. Blue robots (my team?) were always throwing stuff at me. At first, before I actually saw any red robots, I though they were my ennemy.
I think the game would be interesting with human players only.
Good concept. The html5 version starts slowing down after a few seconds, and I couldn't figure out the aiming.
So I just pinned two of the enemy bots against a wall and watched my team win by virtue of having more programmers. Can't lose if I have more active bots.
This is a humourous little entry. :-)
I was confused about what I was trying to do. I kept trying to throw batteries at blue team, but instead I kept throwing mugs. XD I guess if my power fell I'd automatically use any battery I was holding?
Eventually the robots started spending the majority of their time throwing mugs at each other and at me (which was kind of funny I guess), so I just grabbed the batteries myself and started coding for red team because they were closer to winning. :-)
It's an entertaining idea I think... Though I get the impression you had more features in mind. What are your plans for the game now?
I didn't really have any clue about what was going on as neither team had my robot's color. But the implementation of the game seems pretty solid and the shooting feels very nice even though there is no sound.
We got a lot of good feedback on the game. I was thinking of adding some multiplayer, fixing the AI, and making more levels. Of course music and sound are a must. Polishing everything up and cleaning up the game flow would also be important. Thanks for playing! =D
