Wow there is definetly a lot of Metroid inspiration :)
The idea is great : first I found it very easy but then I understand the concept and the last battle wasn't easy. A few things could really make the game shine : - the jump physic is a bit floaty - there is no invulnerability frame - the charge attack of the boss is not telegraphed, making it a bit frustrating With those little changes, and sounds :) this could be a really cool Metroid style game.
Well done.
Great retro-style game with really nice graphics and sounds. The only thing that it lacks is main character animation(while he is moving). It is actually one of the best that I've played so far.

Great metroid like, it fit well with the theme. The boss (with a great sprite) have many patterns, it's cool !
It lacks a few animations on sprites, sounds and a better map to be a strong entry but well done ^^
I think you have lack of time but it's a good start !
Atmospheric sort of dungeon, sorta reminds me of Metroid 2 in particular. Colors of the main character were a little ugly though. I was very amused how you gradually got weaker as you went... you were losing your powers, running out of them, haha. Boss seemed pretty unfair though how he would constantly stay under you if you jumped, so it was impossible to get out of the way to avoid damage.

Really cool idea! Too bad for the slippy control :/ maybe increase the "Gravity" of the input in the Unity project setting. By the way the idea of remove power up is super cool, it's like a reverse Megaman. I love the concept!
Good works!
Pretty fun little platformer! When fighting the boss I got stuck inside of him making it impossible to shoot him. but that was pretty fun! Good job!

Really fun-Metroid like! It just lacks better controls (as the hero slides a lot) and music/sound effects. That boss ain't easy either!
Well done anyway! A really fun game.
Nice interpretation of theme. Thing that annoyed me the most is that boss is faster than player.

Really cool mechanical interpretation of the theme! The graphics are kinda basic, as is the platforming (which is also a bit draggy), but it gets the job done. The idea of starting out overpowered and losing said powers as you progress is awesome. Unfortunately I wasn't able to beat the third boss and due to the lack of savepoints did not want to start all over again. Overall though, I really enjoyed this game, good job! PS: Thank you so much for not using the z key for controls! :)
good job! audio would be nice tho

Good job. Really well balanced difficulty and gameplay. The controls are just perfect. The game needs some music and some more variety, maybe a couple more of attacks and enemies. Good work nonetheless!

It is well made platformer, but it isn't really very original. You should add more interesting enemies, player movement or skills. But it was fun anyways.

Really a good game ! Very polished for 48hrs ! I liked the graphics but the game needs some animations on the player and sounds. I liked the boss a lot ! He is so funny !

Could do with some character animations but otherwise a solid game, controls well and combat is pretty satisfying! Nice work :)

The base concept is really nice, felt like it had some inspiration from Megaman and Metroid here, but controls felt a bit slippery, some balancing is needed on this part here. ;)
Also, every time you win from a boss, your power gets heavily chopped up, a less intense chopping would be better here, as seeing your power heavily drained on the second boss kinda feels a bit frustrating. :/
The visuals are nice and really 8-bit like, but more animations would make the game more appealing. If you polish this project, control-wise and balance it a bit, you have a nice start already! ;)
Good luck, good work and keep making! :D
