This is an amazing effort. Really quite fun. Very creative and innovative approach. I suck at it but I had fun driving the bots around bumping things around. I really like the concept of score based off of how much power is left at each level. I did have a few issues getting cargo back upright once it falls over, so maybe there is a restart level option I missed or something. Anyway, very very fun game. I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

@recursor Make sure you play and rate other games, mate. That is what will get people to find and rate your game. This game is way too cool to leave un-rated. I would hate to see you go through all the effort of building this great game and then not get any feedback on it. Cheers.

Very well made, fun to play. It was a bit too hard imo, but i like the concept.
Really cool game. I like the look, and it is a good idea. The only thing I would like is a restart level button, but other than that, it is really cool.

@mango-malarky Thanks for reminding me. I forgot to put that on the instructions. You can hit escape and a menu will come up that will allow you to retry the level

Very fun game and great idea.
It was a bit annoying though that the robots stopped that quickly once you let go of the key. This always caused the cargo to fall over (maybe that's better with a game pad, didn't have one).
Is there even a chance of completing the level once cargo falls down without restarting?
But the game is really awesome!

@smbe19 Indeed it is better with a gamepad since you can control the acceleration much more accurately. Thanks for that. I'll add a note to that effect.

I did not really know how to play this game until I looked at your gifs afterwards. The wall of instructions is too much to grasp and scares you away, the camera controls would not have been necessary, you could have played the game from a single perspective.
A little background music would have been nice but the sound effects were good.
Overall this feels a little generic and not personal enough for my taste. A little programmer art, hand-drawn art of any quality or some self-made sound effects give a game a personal touch. I have found 3D games like this that only use simple geometric primitives to feel cold and mechanical.
Please do not take this review to heart, I just want to give you my honest opinion. I know how hard it is to make a game in 48 hours and you did a good job, the problems creating something in 3D make it even more complicated to get the game out the door so kudos for that! Keep up the good work, I am excited to see what you have next time :-)

very fun and innovative gameplay. good job
Really great game with very nice presentation. The only thing I didn't like is the steering... forward + right takes me clockwise (like I would expect) but backward + right still takes me in a clockwise circle; to me it would make more sense if it handled like a car. Still, great job overall! :)

@cakemonitor Thanks. You are right, and that's something i'll have to fix in a post-compo version.
Really nice concept, good job.

@recursor This is awesome!
I liked:
The Gameplay: This is a very interesting and fun game. It's a very creative take on the puzzle genre, and once I got to the third level where you have to move the platforms and the ramps I was very entertained.
The Sound: There wasn't any background music, but I do like the moving sound effects. It gives it that industrial robotic feel that helps set the tone.
I didn't like:
Lack of Polish: The game was a bit buggy with some texture glitches and a weird bug where my robot was spinning randomly at one point. I really like the tutorial wall, but the UI isn't too attractive. Also, I liked the idea of the money system, but it didn't seem to have a point.
Overall, this is a very solid entry. I honestly think you should touch it up and release a full version. It's very fun!
The mechanics really match up well with your take on the theme! I'm very glad I did switch to joystick, because I found the acceleration using keyboard was very difficult to control without things flipping over. I like the semi-diegetic help information display, too!

Quite original game!
I like the implementation of the theme into the use of the robots. Very wel thought out!
Though it's said a gamepad is recommended, the implementation makes it less desirable than the keyboard and mouse. The camera can't be controlled on the gamepad. Could've used the right stick and triggers for that. Also, although the driving is analog (though course), the steering is not. Still, I'm amazed a Unity webgame can use a controller. I didn't know that. So kudos for going beyond the call of duty and implementing it!
I had fun playing it!

@estebe I didn't think about using the otehr joystick to control the camera. That would have been much more usable.

This is pretty cool for being done all by one person! The concept is great, mostly just the physics need some fine tuning. I couldn't tell if the boxes were heavy or light. I liked the problem solving aspect. It felt a little strange using mouse and controller (and keyboard for some things). There was a lot to like about this entry! Great job!

Super good idea! Controlling several bots at the same time is interesting. Using physics make the game a bit hard, as it's really easy to have something going bad (I restarted the 3rd level a lot) and so you loose a bit the idea of controlling several bots at the same times, as your already fighting to solve one bot at a time. But the physics also help making the bots look more real, so it's still useful. A windows build would be appreciated, as I couldn't use the gamepad on the html5 build. Keep up the good work.
Very cool game! Sorry I didn't get to it until the last day of judging. Gamepad controls worked well, but I wish I could have controlled the camera with the right thumbstick. Seems like I spent a lot of time positioning the camera just right. I gave up on the third level after about four tries. I finally figured out what I was supposed to do with the bot up top, but it seemed to go too fast for the precision that I needed to get the box lined up perfectly to go down the slide. I wish there was a quick reset button for when I mess up. When I was in full screen mode, I have to press Escape twice to get to the menu and then put it back in full screen after resetting. I was impressed with how solid the game felt for a Unity HTML5 game. I would definitely like to see this game with some 3D models added in for the robots and other objects.
