Hey I enjoyed what there was to play, really simple but engaging, the below 5gold for 5secs was really hard to be fair, I can see myself playing this if you continue to add layers! great job.

Like the dezoom-tutorial. We didn't understood immediately some systems (ex. top slider) but the mechanics are working great. Bravo !

I played it until i finished!

Great idea, hope you continue to expand this to another level. Maybe add multiplayer support would be cool!

Thanks for sharing it!

Hi guys ! The game was really interesting because there is no rules and you have to learn by playing. The gameplay is very cool! I have 2 notices for you : my computer (ubuntu-14 + chrome-58) missed the font of the green icons, so I don't have the money displayed ; the game just stopped hard and freeze 2 or 3 times, and force me to reboot. Except this, very good game!

I played this on Livestream Today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGr9VAOjIQs

I enjoy clicker games, I think this a very solid attempt. This would be more comfortable on Mobile, and I think the Defense having a bar that filled or unfilled to tell me how long it had before it failed would have been super useful. Maybe a cooldown after it finishes so I can't spam it and to make timing more important.

Sorry for the spam, I think something went wrong when I hit publish and it dupicated the post. I don't appear to be able to delete them.

What a fun game! I thought the game's progression was done pretty well, because it encouraged exploring the game mechanics while still provided an ever-building challenge. It reminded me of games such as A Dark Room or Cookie Clicker. I really enjoyed playing, and liked the ending surprise :)

Fun clicker! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yuMfX69kxA

Fun clicker game, hopefully you'll add more layers to the post compo version

That's PERFECT! One of my fav LD entry of all times haha! You know how to reward the player, I'm fully satisfied! Loved the ending, the music, everything.

You got a full 5/5 from me! <3

Interesting twist on the clicker genre. Good fun.

I'm a sucker for idle games, so when I saw this, I was expecting something of that vein. Regardless, this completely surpassed my early expectations of the game. I was astonished when I found out that there was "another player" and that it was some incremental pseudo versus clicker game (that's not a genre you hear often).

The "less is more" approach worked wonders for the game. Slowly zooming out as the game progresses went so well with the theme of the jam. I'm impressed at how even when I was doing just clicking, I had to actually time it so that I could get enough money to keep attacking. Multitasking at its finest. Making the 5 seconds poverty goal the endgame was so rewarding if only for that song. That came out of nowhere and gave me a genuine laugh.

I would really like to see how this further develops. I had a lot of fun with the multitasking, so, in case you end up expanding on the game later on, I'd like to keep playing on that. More automatization for the initial chores in order to let the player focus on the incremental ones would be fantastic, so I hope that you have a fair share of ideas on what else to add.

Now that it's all been said, I want to congratulate your team once again. This game is the proof that simple and to the point can make for very memorable experiences. This game is well worth the grinding, if only for the ending song. That you let the player download it was a great touch.

This is such a great idea, I would love to play a much more involved version of this idea :)

I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/141703264 - time 0:07:00

I loved how the game zoomed out to reveal an identical layout trying it's best to thwart me. That was a great moment.

I couldn't beat under 5 gold for 5 secs unfortunately. My clicking finger cannae keep up!

I didn't really understand what the bar on the right hand side was, or why you wanted to fill it up with the horizontal/drag bar thing at the top (I am proper good with words today). That could be because the majority of my attention was on the center three buttons and keeping up with attacking/defending/clicking.

Simple but really engaging game overall. I do like that game reveals extra elements as you go along, and multi-tasking was an enjoyable challenge. Lovely job! :D
