Interesting game mechanic. The always moving mobs were my downfall. It would be interesting to try it with a reverse magnetic force as well.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD36 → Chadwik the Charismagnetic

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
Very Nice i love your Game Good Works )=
This was really fun to work on.
Very unique mechanic and awesome graphics. This entry was simply amazing. No complaints! :)
Very unusual and addictive mechanic of game . That's cool that people are don't afraid generate new interesting, unique ideas. This game is totally playable. Congratulations.
Nice game with a nice mechanic. It felt a bit like a minigame from "ratchet and clank". But that's probably just me.
Tips: The dust particles for movement really emphasize movement. But when you die there is no real emphasizement on that. Making the screen shake or showing a big flash would be a nice effect to add there.
I was doing just fine, expertly guiding Chadwick around land spikes and other assorted hazards, killing dinosaur mobs with spiky poles (that's their official name, right?), when suddenly, after Chadwick grasped yet another mellow emerald, a third spiky poles materialized out of thin air right on top of poor, poor Chadwick!
Expertly guiding his limp body around land spikes and other assorted hazards, killing dinosaur mobs with spiky poles, bumping him into mellow emeralds... It just isn't the same any more.
Was a wicked good chap that Chadwick, he shall be missed.

A perfect game, really. I wish I'd had the time to be involved in it! Beautifully done, Jim. Nice job.
So polished!
@Pickens Inc. Thanks buddy! I look forward to the possibility of December. :D
@HuuvaKoodia Should I name them spiky poles? I just kinda called them pillars in Unity. :P
@Skullpixel as do I! Oh, and my pathetically low high score was 5. Gotta keep playing this!
Wow, this is definitely unoque. When I saw the screenshot tumbnails at first, I thought that it is a game about some battles in a cup of coffee, viewed from the top :)
I also encountered a bug - the door thing and the enemies just didn't spawn
*unique
@SkullPixel
In order to offend the last of the poles, yes you should. Just don't typo like I did, still gives me the shivers that.
Also thanks for the comment concerning my comment. Much appreciated!
Really clever yet simple. Always love your graphics. I found a rythmn of going in circles with the magnet and arcing my way around the map based on speed of rotation. Not sure if you planned for that or not but it was fun.

Very good, unique game. The mechanic is very clever and has a surprising amount of depth. I also love the art and title. Great work!
Also, my high score was 7.
That's a new concept to snake-like game. However sometimes occured bug that no new jewel showed and I had to kill myself. Music in background is calm and nice but sound of movement is a bit too noisy and harsh for me. It's good prototype but I think it needs improve like more collectibles on map and various levels.
For some reason the embedded version on Ludum Dare website gives me : 404 Not Found https://storage.googleapis.com/itchio/upload2/game/82699/265399
But hopefully I could play it on itch.io
Really good music and art. Plus the gameplay is very original and offers a good challenge. I find it so funny that it's still possible to drag the dead body around. (I hope nobody takes that out of context XD) I actually prefer when there is no enemy has it makes it more like a puzzle game. It's already quite hard to move everything around and I need time to think because the hero goes way faster than everything else.
My High Score is 10.
Very good entry !
@komill Exactly what I've been thinking of doing. We plan on continuing with the game to make a full(er) version.
In the almost-done post-jam version I believe I've fixed the disappearing gem and a few other things too.
Very, very well done! This is an amazing work! The art and sound are great (Same with the mood of the game).
I really enjoyed playing this game, just the only thing I can say, is to correct the random (I suppose its random) generation so an emerald can't appear inside the spikes. :]
This game seems really polished, good job. It is a nice challenge to drag the character around and look out not to drag those spiky pillars onto him. The graphics and the audio fit perfectly together and are beautiful. I like this minimalist style. :)
I had one little problem with the random level generation: one time it generated a gem right on the floor spikes, so the poor little character just had to die. :(
These game mechanics are great and so is the art!

Wow, that's a very creative mechanic!
loved it. I found it quite challenging as well, which is a good thing.
The game feels smooth and the mechanics are awesome.
My high score was just 8
Very fun game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/66O503w0cEI
Nice lil game! The mechanic is interesting, but, at times, I got confused with which key would move the magnet in the desired direction.
One thing that I really missed was being able to hit the enemies with the traps (or even traps colliding with one another).
Really fun to play. Polished art and unique game mechanic.
The most fun part is dead Chadwik moved by magnet on arena.
I also included your game in an article of my favorites as well as awarded a trophy to your profile! :) http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-ludum-dare-36-eyjmnpkp
