I like your game. It is a simple platform runner but using alternate left/right button to move. It's kinda hard to control actually, but it is challenging. :)

It's harder than you think, that's for sure.
I can't stop laughing everytime I flip the handcar... Is that what it's called?
The music is very nice too.
Great idea, and a fun mechanic :)
I found it quite hard to keep the cart on track, since it seemed to spin at almost every jump, but I managed to reach almost 200 meters nonetheless after a few tries!
It was quite fun to watch the blob guys paddle with the cart upside down, but that didn't really help in making progress^^
Naturally, I was inevitably crushed by the rocks again and again.
If possible, please remove these ultra high frequencies of the sound effects... (it even started aliasing, so you must have passed the 22kHz range o.o) Fade them out or filter them, please :)
Fun, very hectic. Interesting take on the endless runner. Liked the little sprite guys. SFX were a little on the loud side, not sure what the red status bar was for.
A little hard to control--I end most playthroughs upside down frantically trying to turn the cart over as the avalanche descends on me--but that's part of what makes this so enjoyable. I love the characters, too. Well done.
We liked the pumping mechanic and the floating title screen. How to jump properly took a while getting used to. This game is quite hard! Nice physics, and matching sounds! We didn't get that far, but we would have liked to see more gameplay elements.
Thanks for leaving so detailed feedback for "20000 Pixels Into The Sea"! <3
@Vaiaphraim yeah audio was one of the last things I did and I just ran bfxr and found sounds that sort of fit lol. I'll make sure you give them a pass in Audacity next time and make sure they're not so obnoxious. Also while in the air the cart spins if you're holding a direction down. If you release while in the air you should just float for the most part. Thanks for the detailed feedback.
This is a really neat idea, very fun:). The cart is a bit difficult to handle however. I'm not sure if having the card movement and tipping on the same keys was an intentional design decision, but separating them might help with the control.
Nice idea! Ez moving and fun to play/ I really like it!
@BestNickname I really should make it so that you don't turn the cart until you've released the arrow keys after jumping so that you can keep the key held without accidentally turning.
So hard!
I really loved the title screen, and the game feels pretty cool to play!
Congratulations :)
This is a fun idea that fits the theme perfectly! I like the way you see more instructions as you go forward. It was pretty hard! Those poor little blobs, I think I put them through a lot. :D
really cool game, it was actually quite hard to control but still a lot of fun. Great job.
I enjoyed this game, you picked some good audio for this one!
The music was. There were moving lines in the ground and the hurdles making the cart flip were annoying, but good job.
Very nice game. It has easy and intuitive controls, thus it's hard to master. The jumping mechanics are a bit wonky, but I got used to it. Well done!
Very nice game, the sounds and music were good and the progression of the levels was nicely curved. I got 677.6 m as highscore. I do think that giving the player a higher penalty for hitting the red barriers would have been nice, cause I can get really far while hitting al these barriers.
it was funnier that i expected :).
i made 473 meters in second run
Probably the most fun LD36 game I played yet! 532m highscore. Tried a fair few times :).
Gameplay is great and don't think there's much to improve i n that respect. With some nicer graphics, better sounds/music (the current ones are very good for an LD) and menus you should have a fully fledged game (would be great on mobiles I'd say).
I really hope you take this to completion and publish it as you got a game with potential here! Good luck!
Cool and simple concept, its hard to control sadly but overall its a fun to play, the music does suit the game along with the art and so on, good job.
