Great writing! It was fun to see how the fairy tale evolved. And the end was so cute!

paradxil 2016-04-18 23:25

I really enjoyed this story. Good job!!

tinyhugger 2016-04-18 23:29

If I could describe this game in one word, it would be BEAUTIFUL.

jadernak 2016-04-19 00:22

The timeframe jumping was executed very well and the story itself was good enough. You were also on the right track with believability of the characters. I would really enjoy if you would be able to bend the story though choices not just add information to it.

Good idea!

wisedawn 2016-04-19 02:13

An excellent take on the theme!

grooveman 2016-04-19 19:26

WHO'S CRYING?! I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING

For real tho, I really enjoyed that. I love twists and retellings of fairy tales, and the way the story is slowly rewritten is wonderful. I also really like the heavy blurring between the physical heart and the metaphorical one.

Super great job!

Wow, different, and amazing. It's like Depression Quest, but better haha

teamross 2016-04-20 00:40

Good story!

blob 2016-04-20 00:56

That was so good. Oh the feels...

seleb 2016-04-20 01:03

A nice little story, and a good use of the theme!
I particularly liked the use of repetition, and was especially grateful for the highlighted text showing what had changed.

zzapp 2016-04-20 03:07

Cool idea, it was unique take on the theme and had some great writing. I replayed it a few times to get the different endings, but it would of been nice if there was some more choices during the game instead at the end.
Overall really nice work.

i have to admit... i definitely have a soft spot for twine games :)
this was really really well done, a joy to read, and an extremely interesting take on the theme, both with the literal shapeshifting in the classic fairytale, and the way the actual story itself shifts and change as you reveal more and more backstory. great job!!

You wanna know? I LOVED IT.
Really loved the story, the progression, everything. Congrats for the criativity.

kestrelgames 2016-04-21 05:12

Very well-written, really liked how the 'shape' of the tale changed as you progressed. Great take on the theme. Would have liked to have a checkpoint or 'undo' somewhere so you didn't have to restart all the way to explore different endings, but a very enjoyable entry. Still played all the endings :)

Very innovative idea for a game! Also very captivating story.

The only problem I had with it was when the sudden switch to "you-form" happened. I got confused as I didn't know what character i suddenly was. This might be because I'm not a native English speaker though =)

I love how the story is about shapeshifting, while you also shapeshift the actual story! Awesome take on the theme!

The mood is already great but it would have been so cool to get a soundtrack into the game! Some people might not like that, they could just mute!

Overall - Great!

big-cow 2016-04-21 23:06

Good writing, I enjoyed the subtle changes and extra depth added to the narrative.

anaguilefdez 2016-04-21 23:22

It is a beautiful story! A little more interaction would have been great, but it is moving. Nice one

leo_p_mahon 2016-04-22 00:00

Right in the feels. Really enjoyed your writing, especially the bit where *SPOILERS* The witches iron balls move towards your heart.

seadads 2016-04-22 13:28

Wow, love it! Best take on the theme I've seen so far :)

tchai 2016-04-23 02:35

Woww, this was a different and, at same time, impressive way to handle the Theme. Thanks to share with us this experience, I loved to read this fairy tale in the light of a new perspective.

You're a great writer Celia, congratulations! :D

acouplegames 2016-04-23 02:37

niiice job guys! really good play a game about tales, always good. Thanks for this and keep working!

ithildin 2016-04-23 14:13

The key element here is the way the story is actually shaped (a clever second layer dealing with the theme) as you keep reading. I really liked this.

The game was interesting, but the choices were very reduced, but that's understandable given the time constraints and the fact that you punt a considerable amount of writing.

Good job!!

Great shapeshifting idea and implementation. I'd love to see more plot junctions :)

mrbungle 2016-05-09 10:30

Clever little story within a story, really great work.
