Really awesome!!! I love it :D
( ゚▽゚)/ amazing!!!
Awesome game. Polished visual effects and controls.
Very cool and clever idea, would have been a cool extra if you had the mouse handle turning and firing but it honestly works as is
A neat idea, but I don't love how it feels to play. Would definitely play a future version though, because it's got lots of room for expansion!
I love the idea of it but it felt really clunky. I felt like you moved a lot slower than expected. Maybe the levels were a bit too small to really feel like you could accelerate well.
I loved the ship editing system and the animation when you swap shapes. Impressive!
Great game, genuinely fun!
Very good!
Great game!
I like how your maneuver capabilities grow when you realize you can rotate engines to do fast turnarounds.
Interesting concept, but I didn't really feel like the shapeshifting mechanic added much to the core gameplay.
The game itself was pretty solid, apart from the agonising time it took to turn (maybe I was doing something wrong), so good job!
Really nice mechanic you implemented there. Also nice implementation.
Kudos!
Awesome concept and great use of the theme! =D The gameplay could be a bit faster though (or maybe the html version was laggy for me)
Not bad, the graphics are awesome
So first let me say that I think this concept is one of the best I've seen in a while. I'd like to play a more hashed out version. The controls were a bit difficult to use since everything was clumped up in one spot, arrow keys for movement or changing shape would have been ideal so you could use both hands. That said, I had fun with this and while difficult I thought it was very clever.
Very cool concept. Love the idea of customizing your ship like that... shields, weapons, boosters all in the place I want.
Graphics are also very crisp. Some nice touches, like the contrails on the rockets (I wish they made a sound though).
Some critiques:
- by going slowly I never really needed to swap the ship much - just for going through narrow sections.
- the layout editor didn't work very well, it never dropped the components where I wanted - not sure if it's a mouse accuracy problem with the HTML5 version or what.
- couldn't figure out how to get rid of dead components, and sometimes I left that good components just vanished.
- it was unclear what the level goals were. Kill all enemies? Reach a certain point? I got to level 4 (I think), and killed everyone (I think), but never got the "level completed".
Overall, a really need concept though - it would be cool to see it taken further.
Extremely cool idea and very well executed! Nice graphics. The mechanics could easily keep me entertained for hours, and so easily extensible. At first I thought the grey rocks where in the foreground, maybe darken them a bit or something.
Good game, take turns is really really slowly, makes this game too hard to clear :PPP
original game and mechanic even if some time its hard
Neat game! I included it in my video compilation series of Ludum Dare games, if you’d like to check them out :) https://youtu.be/CILyMGd9ZnE
Cool graphics!
Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several winners of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
