Great game!!! Seriously, nice work.
the intro and voice are annoying more than funny, maybe if they were shorter or i could jump it...
I couldnt understand the game at first, and the tutorial was useless. a more simple way to start the game is to say "press shift and 1 WITH THE MOUSE on the black hole to push it".
I'm afraid I didn't enjoy your audio and voices at all! I like the bow and shifting mechanics, but it does feel more intuitive for spacebar to be jump in a platformer maybe? The darkness/clouds/lighting where the world is only revealed around the character I really like here though - how exactly is that done?
Bow mechanic is nice
Solid entry! :D
Really good mechanic. Solid and polished.
Music was good but you screaming down the mic at the start was really annoying. Mechanically it was interesting though.
Dat voice-acting though xD
Dunno if it's intentional but in the tutorial the voice-guide reset.
Cool usage of the theme :)
Good luck!
the the intro was very long and couldn't be skipped :/ then i pushed the round circle and it went quickly to the right, but it was behind the wall and was stuck. was the wall supposed to break?
nice!
Bow mechanic? Nice. Shapeshift reminds me trine, stuck after the enemy breakable cube, the big circle didn't break the wall. Voice acting unmissable, please not :(
Cool game. Love the art.
The bow was really great, but it felt a bit overpowered once I realized you could basically just create a wall of arrows if you could get above those terrifying triangles and they'd all impale themselves at some point.
The music was nice and the bow mechanic was really cool. The input for the shape wand thing was a bit cumbersome.
When the voice acting first started, I was like, "Yeah, okay. I can get down to this," then it pushed things further until I was kind of put off by it, but if that's what you were going for, you definitely succeeded. Also, I think you need to disable the "click here for the tutorial button" once the user has clicked it. I had like 6 loops of the tutorial track playing for a bit there.
Overall it was fun and pretty well done.
Thanks for your feedback everyone!
@dvdagames, thankyou for your detailed feedback. for voice acting, I was trying to make it as irritating and annoying as possible, but I think I failed at getting it to where it was so annoying, that it was somewhat funny, I won't ever try that again xD. I didn't realize the tutorial was messed up like that, thankyou for pointing it out.
@anybody who said positive stuff, thankyou
@anybody who said negative stuff, Get a life
Good music, but I had to check the comments below to work out that the "shapeshifting" needed the mouse...
The idea is nice, but voice acting was unpleasant.
You could polish it a bit more.
Overall, the game is ok.
The voice acting was a little over the top. Neat mechanic with targeting shapes.
Mechanics are great and visuals not too bad for a game that you did in 48 hours. Voices are... weird? Music - enjoyable. Cool entry ++
that audio though. I included it in my video compilation series of Ludum Dare games, if you’d like to check them out :) https://youtu.be/7kJFcods5hA
@Jupiter_Hadley
You were suppose to use the circular orb created by the wand, to push that black circle down onto the platform to open the gate. Thankyou for playing though.
fantastic graphics, fantastic audio, fantastic fun
had a lot of fun clickin thet tutorial multiple times
Like the music. Voice acting is a bit overdone (obviously intentionally) but would benefit from being toned down a bit. Music overpowers voice if you activate the tutorial. Control scheme is a bit clumsy as it requires three hands (or at least one super-dexterous one): one for mouse, one for wasd, one for controlling the wand.
Might make sense to have shift held down all the time by default, and use mouse buttons to control the shape/shoot. Maybe left button shoots, right cycles among objects?
Enjoyed mechanics and soundtrack. There is a little something. If you turn back when your arrow is mid-air arrow turns with you also. You probably uptade the velocity of the arrow each frame B). GOOOODDDDDDBYAEAEAEAEAEEEEEAEEAE!
Nice little Game:) Great audio :P
