The game is quite beautiful but the gameplay / sound are maybe a bit boring.
Good work however!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD35 → Subverse

Nice graphics, but needs a tutorial.
Nice work with graphics and physics. But lack of fun.
I have no idea what's I'm supposed to be doing... :(
Cool game. Got a little bit boring, but the premise and the core gameplay were well realised.
Good job! :)
The best thing about this entry is the overall feel and mood. The environment and underwater world is quite cool. Also I think that the controls are pretty decent, once you get them. I think that you can introduce mechanics much better than you do though. It would have been way better to learn the controls through some kind of tutorial. Lastly, congrats to finishing the game and making something good during the time limit.
This is a fun game! The controls took me a minute to get used to but after that it was smooth sailing... or subbing... haha but anyways, well done with the graphics and physics. I love the look of the sub, I kept expecting to see John, Paul, George, and Ringo peeking out of the portholes ;)
Nice little underwater world!
I liked the way the sub controlled, that was well done.
It gave a great sense of depth and I did feel a sense of isolation and immersion. Controls were pretty solid once you get used to it, but I felt the shape shifting rock people was thrown in last minute just to fit the theme. However it does a great job as a submarine simulator
Nicely done. I played for 10 minutes and got a score of 12 for three round trips consisting of 2, 4 and 6 ores.
The shapeshifting guys are super creepy and you panic at the moment you get hit by a stone coming out of nowhere in your line of sight. Tension was high around the rocky areas and I liked that part of the gameplay.
I believe setting a fixed time frame is not necessary and 20 minutes is a long time for a level. It might be better to divide the game in a few levels and have the player progress by collecting a fixed number of ores.
Good entry! Keep up the good work. I especially loved the submarine, it was beautiful.
Pretty interesting concept but the controls were really hard to get used to.
The game looked nice, but somehow it grabbed the mouse cursor and was difficult to exit :-)
Interesting interpretation of the theme. Was not expecting...rock throwing rocks :p I guess if you were to expand it, could have all sorts of surprise transformations, so you never know whether something new will turn out to be a surprise or just another piece of junk at the bottom of the sea.
Needs some sort of indication of health of the sub though. If not a health bar, then maybe some cracks appearing on the sub (or maybe there was a health bar but was cropped off the bottom by gameJolt webview frame in which I played, as some of the how to play text was).
Nice game
Like this game alot. Just wish I could escape from the stoneguys faster. Seems like once your in range your screwed.
