You need to work on your input logic, the controls are quite unresponsive, and this is frequently game breaking. Great effort, hope to see you back for another jam.

Controls were definitely wonky, but workable. I was able to pass each level without them getting in the way.
Overall an interesting game. The growth mechanics were worked into the level quite nicely, and I enjoyed the idea of using spikes to fit into smaller spaces.
Excellent sprite animation :)
Glad to see another entry using Phaser :). Good job and nice use of both themes! As some people said the controls feel laggy.
Fun little platformer, however I wasn't able to finish one of the levels due to a mixture of my own incompetence and poor control.
Controls are doable. Interesting mechanics.
Wow, that dude can get quite big, hahaha. I especially loved the sound effects, very fun :)
Diagonal slopes are always a bit tricky with platformers. I'd recommend not using them unless you can get them really right. Also the controls felt a bit weird at first because of the jump on key up, instead of key down. But after a while I got used to it and it worked out alright :)
I like how the levels are quite challenging, but when you die, you're always fairly quickly back to the place where you died, which helps in keeping you motivated to clear the level.
I agree the controls were pretty unintuitive because of the jump on key up. Plus I got stuck in Level 2 because I missed a jump and was too big to get to the exit.
It was a nice attempt at using both themes!
I commend you for trying to stick with the 2 button controls, but they are just too weird for me, which takes a lot out of the game. I think the game and idea isn't half bad, but graphics, music and overall everything still needs quite a bit of improvement. Not a bad job I must say but definitely needs improvements. Keep on jamming!
Couple of collision problems here or there but other than that it's a pretty nice entry.
Great job using two inputs for complex controls. They do feel a little unresponsive when you're on a slope, but very workable. Great job!
Controls seems unresponsive. Check this!
The controls were somewhat hard. Sometimes the character wouldn't jump etc.. The sound effects were funny and the music fits well to the game. Good job!
Fun game!
It's a fun game, and I like how you've managed to get both the themes there. But to be honest I'd rather you drop the two button requirement and have the jump and speed have separate keys. It would play a lot better. (or have a default, but faster speed instead.)
I think I gave up on level 3.
Thanks for comments everyone! I agree that the two button controls made the game worse - I will update it with "normal" controls and put a development version on the "web" link soon!
