Strange but addictive I wanted to see what would happen the more I tryed it was difficult but playable.

osthekake 2013-12-16 07:01

It looks pretty cool, but I need to have love2d to run it? (whatever that is) Some instructions for how to run it would be appreciated.

icedmetal57 2013-12-16 07:02

Got an error. Missing "MSVCR110.dll" from my computer. Had to download a redist to get it. Might want to include that, or something of that sort.

icedmetal57 2013-12-16 07:07

Not sure what was going on, but it seemed to speed up on occasion.

kbake 2013-12-16 07:17

Interesting idea, though in some ways it was a little frustrating constantly getting set back; I think I would've preferred it if, instead of X seconds passing and me getting set back, I only get set back on death. But you may have tried that and liked the current way better, regardless it was well made!

mrvanderpants 2013-12-16 07:54

Fun game, but took me a while to figure out what was going on. I loved the idea thou

gravityscore 2013-12-16 07:55

Well made. Interesting art.

crockid5 2013-12-16 08:55

There is way too much going on, not obvious what to do

anton_d 2013-12-16 09:28

I took a while until I figured out what to do and I got somewhere. It was pretty hard to play through with constantly getting set back. Overal great idea and pretty fun, but it needs some more balance.

tobiasnl 2013-12-16 10:35

Pretty nice mechanic!

thecze 2013-12-16 10:38

The game looks like as if it's running too fast on my pc.
Also - I wasn't really sure what to do other then to run to the right.
The name is definetely gold though!

eddm 2013-12-16 11:30

Nice graphics, takes a bit of time to work out what the hell is going on. Kinda fun though

thingus 2013-12-16 11:45

Found it pretty good fun; with a bit of polish, this could be something special.

hyoga-3d 2013-12-16 18:13

I could not run it on my computer :/

marekkpie 2013-12-16 20:30

Interesting concept. I get some massive slow down the later the game goes. I'm guessing you don't clean up the bullets efficiently enough.

barrucadu 2013-12-16 20:51

- Updated game to include sound and be more balanced -

nisshoku 2013-12-16 22:24

Cool mechanic and I'm impressed you got it to work. I was a bit confused at the start, I thought the sudden jumps were caused by a bug, so I think next time you should focus more on explanation or more audiovisual cues for the time jumps.

chamberlainpi 2013-12-16 23:32

Ran really aweful on my system, not sure if it's platform specific. Running on Windows 7 here.

mtrc 2013-12-17 00:13

Very very hard. Love the idea and looked cool, but could barely get past the first screen! :)

ocathalain 2013-12-19 12:05

Interesting and unusual concept! Very difficult though. I constantly felt like I didn't have anywhere near enough time before time travelling(?)

tigerrenko 2013-12-19 20:21

Dont really get it

tobbez 2013-12-23 14:43

The warpback mechanic was never really used for anything and only felt odd and misplaced. Remembering where you were 5 seconds ago so that you can avoid shots is not really easy especially for a mechanic that doesn't add anything. The 3 levels seemed nice but constantly being chased by an army of enemies made it hard to really experience them. The shooting sound quickly got quite annoying.

I like the graphic but the main mechanic is somewhat misplaced.

jimmypaulin 2013-12-31 14:52

Nice concept, pretty confusing at first but part of the fun was figuring out what was going on! I think a little more variety in the sound effects would have helped as it started to sound a little repetitive. Original.

snoringfrog 2014-01-04 09:26

Never could get past level two, but it was an interesting game. It was weird trying to figure out how it worked, but even after I understood it I still didn't do very well haha. Loved the design of Juan.
