Whoa, thanks for asking me to review this game -- it was REALLY fun. The controls are all quite responsive, and the background movement gave a very dynamic feel to the game. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

Two minor quibbles:
- In the starting screen, there is no indication that you must press Z to select "start game". I tried pressing enter, space, control... after about 2 or 3 minutes of a lot of confusion, I pressed Z :-P

- The flower boss, the health bar is quite unnoticeable. Maybe make it stand out a little bit more?

Thanks a lot for the game!

good effort :) i like the music especially

Quite fun! It's funny that simply allowing the player to change direction amounted in such a unique experience.

I wasn't a fan of the music or sound effects, and the graphics blended together a bit too much, but nice job!

I would try it if you had a Web or OSX version.

Nice, mindless fun! :) I found having to push a button to change direction distracting at first, but when I got the hang of it, it really made a difference. The controls are tight and the action, relentless.
And that's the most vicious flower I've ever seen! :D

having GM Lite embed a watermark INSIDE the game sucks! :P

Congratulations! Keep working on it!

Fun game! It took me quite a few tries but I eventually beat it. Although the controls felt a bit awkward at first and the gameplay seemed a bit too random where sometimes it was impossible to avoid things, especially with the small game window.

Heh, pretty fun! Thank you for tying the shooting to a KeyPress event, rather than KeyDown. This really made the direction switching easy as you only have to worry about tapping one key... Also agree that explaining to hit the "Z" on the menu select would be a bit of a help. Thanks for sharing your game!

A nice little danmaku game for 48 hours! Very quick and frenetic. Some of the camera motions were quite jarring! I am really bad at these kinds of games so I had to retry a few times :P

The pattern for the flower boss was pretty cool! I had a tough time avoiding all the shots (I don't think I focused enough on figuring out the hitbox). I like that the game has a nice menu system, I feel that helps to make the presentation nice and tidy.

I thought the ending was pretty funny- not because of the actual content of it, but rather because I wasn't expecting a development like that to happen at all! It seemed like such a stark change in mood :P

A fun little game, the mechanic to switch directions is definitely something you don't see enough of in games like this! Really nicely done with that idea.

That flower was one tough cookie but I had fun fighting it and the bombs really helped out in a pinch. Felt balanced and extremely responsive so well done! :)

I thought the game was quite fun, but the concept was a little silly. The music and graphics were fun.

YES! THIS GAME IS AWESOME!

This game is seriously fun. The whole concept of a fairy firing heavy weaponry at chickens while they shoot bubblegum at her is a trainwreck in the best kind of way. I especially like the awesome power of the power ups. Never got to the second level but the first level was solid gold on it's own. Nice work.

Good game, graphics suck

I laughed when I saw the title "little girl" in combination with the controls "X - bomb" and "Z - shoot" and continued when I saw that all the enemies where shooting what seemed like deadly hearts. I had fun though, and the flower boss was well done. The transition to the boss was also surprising.
