| Oct 20 02:24:43 | Zwaard Smid | ♥ 2 | I've always wanted to forge things. In fact I have a 110 lbs anvil I bought at harbor freight with the hopes of one day banging some leaf springs into some blades. So I'm glad to have this cool game to allow me to scratch the itch until that one day comes. I've got the kaowool, sounds I need to get some satanite next. I did struggle with knowing when to push e vs f. | |
| Oct 20 02:43:59 | 19m 16s | Morse Strike | ♥ 1 | This is the type of game I was hoping to be able to play with this theme! There were a few levels where it was hard to see the targeting reticle. 73. |
| Oct 20 03:28:26 | 44m 27s | Junkyard Pilot Crash Course | ♥ 0 | Relaxing run based flying game. I thought some of the flying physics could be changed to be more realistic - but then maybe you have what you were going for? I wonder how the game would have looked with a low poly terrain? Curious to know what areas AI helped you with. |
| Oct 21 02:48:14 | 23h 19m | Old Tech Is The Best | ♥ 1 | Good game. Some feedback: It would be helpful if you had a inventory and could salvage items. -J |
| Oct 21 03:35:13 | 46m 59s | Detech | ♥ 1 | Fun game, i beat it after dying a few times at the final level/wave, do the tanks rockets damage the robots as well? If so they could be used as weapons. Maybe the server could have some attack so that once all the other robots are defeated, it won't be easy defeating it, or it could go into a special boss round and maybe it summons other robots. You could also add so that when you wack the scout robots while they are charging to stop. I really like the mechanic that you can use the grapple to sling up to the drones. It would be fun to have a drone obstacle course where you use your grapple to sling up to the drones and try to get higher, just for fun. Great job. -J |
| Oct 21 07:30:09 | 3h 54m | Pigeon Post | ♥ 2 | Great atmosphere, graphics, music, sound. - If the poop wasn't cleaned up, was that making pigeons sick? - I found a bug that I could click on the egg without it bouncing around if I did so while a pop-up was present. While I really liked it for the game it was, I played until the thank-you for playing our LD60 game message. I wouldn't be compelled to play again on the account I felt it was only a matter of time to complete/win vs. decisions made to win. A little on-boarding on how to make decisions would help, perhaps saying wings were for distance, then you had the icon for speed, and weight carrying. At least that's how I think it worked out. So yeah, make it harder with decisions that allow me to win or lose based on those. > But you delivered on an enjoyable game jam experience! |
| Oct 22 02:55:29 | 19h 25m | Rusty Relics | ♥ 0 | Good game, i like the sensor that detects the relic, it is a good mechanic. -J |
| Oct 23 01:44:25 | 22h 48m | GOT IT | ♥ 0 | The environment is really hard to get up, but, great game! -J |
| Oct 23 02:15:50 | 31m 25s | Would you still love me if I were a switchboard operator? | ♥ 0 | Great game, i made it to the end and then jumped off!!! The axe thing at the level near the end doesn't kill you, right? -J |
| Oct 23 03:12:58 | 57m 08s | oldbot | ♥ 0 | Great game! I liked it but it was difficult because the direction that you were pointing is not the direction your shooting. -J |
| Oct 24 02:31:27 | 23h 18m | Trebuchet Golf | ♥ 1 | Great fun. The audio for loading different projectiles was a bit low. Really enjoyed the clever mechanic of different ball types. Thank-you so much for putting a light trace line on. |
| Oct 24 02:56:37 | 25m 10s | Let's Make Fire | ♥ 1 | Wow, I'm so impressed. I also struggled to make fire, I'm going download linux version and try again - was playing web. All was going well until I somehow got caught on the back left (looking at crafting area) and couldn't move. I did continue to struggle a bit with the way to use your hands, it seemed some objects couldn't be hit/wouldn't hit each other. Although, technically I guess I did get fire... lighting struck a tree and I managed to get a stick on fire and take it back to my hearth. My kids and I were cracking up as we kept encountering new stuff... like the rain, then the lighting strike, not to mention all the other detail like message in a bottle, etc. Super great experience. I'll share this with outdoor survival/learning camp the kids have attended. |
| Oct 24 02:59:43 | 3m 06s | L.S.D. Flight Simulator | ♥ 0 | Good game, it is cool that your wings fall off! -J |
| Oct 24 03:11:32 | 11m 49s | HammerTime | ♥ 0 | I thought i was good at hammering nails, or not has bad, the best i got was a B one time, the rest i got Ds or F-s. -J |
| Oct 24 03:29:10 | 17m 38s | Stars and the Sea | ♥ 1 | Mountain dulcimer - fantastic. I'm interested to try recording music for our future games. Was this your own composition or just your own playing? I'm loving the games coming out of this theme and was excited to get to play this, but inbetween (a) getting interrupted (I should have stopped my boat but didn't think I'd be gone long), (b) some particularly long cloud cover, (c) dozing off - to relaxed by the music? (d) getting what I consider harder maps when I was able to focus - I didn't make it to the end. But I'm going to try again another day! One thing I wished for was a bit of scale between what I see and what is on the map. Also, instead of remembering colors, would be nice directly marking "start" & "stop" --> If that's a problem for star map interference, perhaps a legend. I'd also use circle & square or shapes for people who may be color blind. |
| Oct 24 03:34:49 | 5m 39s | TGISSTOGWLT (This Game Is Somewhat Similar To Other Games With Long Titles) | ♥ 1 | Great game, i beat the second boss, later in the game i got overrun and got destroyed. -J |
