I liked this! It's a creative idea, but I'm bad at bullet hells so I didn't do too well. I think it would be cool if the window was permanent and you could move it around, but even as executed its fun. I am a bit confused on why I would use some of the upgrades though, enlarge and drift just seem to make the game harder (maybe they could be debuffs you're forced to put down?)

I played this in 2 FPS but it's still really cool!
Ran fluently on my mediocre laptop, so can't complain about performance! Felt super smooth and nicely polished. Nice touch how the spaceship falls apart more and more rather than having some uninspired health bar. :) But I found it pretty hard - the ship felt relatively large and the controls were so smooth that it was hard to make precise movements, so I often ran into bullets when it felt like I should have been able to avoid them. Surely a matter of practice anyway, but oh well. Also lovely LSD effect. :D

This is an amazing game! Gives you that old school feeling for real. Thought it would be a bit more trippy though ;) All in all this is a solid mf entry to the jam. Good job!
Congrats on a great shooter! The effect window mechanic is really original. The game runs smoothly here, but suffers from freezes, apparently when loading a sound for the first time. I had to wait for 5-10 seconds each time before the game continued. Tried this on both FF and Chrome. Eventually the game stopped freezing.
that was quite trippy. Although I didnt really understood the point of some zones like shrink or drift, but still was fun to play
