I really like the control panel with all the switches and gauges!

strikeoo 2026-10-20 05:58 ♥ 1

love the concept and visuals! The key binding change section was very clever, tho I was really hoping to attack using mouse clicks

appoxgames 2026-10-20 08:38 ♥ 0

@avi Thank you, yes wanted to create that old destroyed world is taken over by nature feeling but with a desert twist.

appoxgames 2026-10-20 08:40 ♥ 0

@strikeoo Yes, i really don't know why i forgot to add mouse click. Every time i played i kept saying that i needed to support mouse click since it is closest to that jetfighter aim and fire feeling but i kept forgetting. Thank you for your feedback!

As a mech enjoyer i have no other choice than love this one, the visuals are crazy, sound is also good (had some cracks).

Before seeing the UI, i didn't understand how to move and even after knowing how to, it feels not natural. Move and fight at the same time is hard due to controls being to close.

I ended my play in a sumo match due to being moved outside the battle circle and unable to come back.

leandre00 2026-10-20 13:10 ♥ 1

This is the mecha game we had advertising for in 2010, I love it, the item/scrap system reminded me my greatest time on DRG Survivor. Great job!

skigfx 2026-10-20 13:37 ♥ 1

Wow! This is literally one of those games I dreamed of playing as a kid! A badass robot made up of different modules, each with its own mechanics, a cool control panel, and tons of enemies to fight!

One small issue: I couldn't figure out how to restart the level after losing. Refreshing the page does the trick, though!

nosoy 2026-10-20 13:47 ♥ 1

The game is really fun and interesting! I love the mech’s visual style and customization options. I’m making a similar game myself. The way the awkward controls add to the difficulty is really cool, though there are so many keys that one hand on the keyboard isn’t enough. I’d love an auto-aim option so I could control the mech with both hands on the keyboard.

appoxgames 2026-10-20 14:09 ♥ 0

@nosoy the module called gryo actually gives autoaim. But yeah after some testing for some reason the modules are not dropping that often.

appoxgames 2026-10-20 14:12 ♥ 2

@empeurman Yes some of the chassis are very hard to control. Spiderlegs is my favourite and easiest to control, it needs some more polish. Thank you for your feedback!

@leandre00 Interesting, can you link me the advertisement? Is it still available? Would love to check it out.

@skigfx Yeah m2, it's actually inspired by Smash TV. I will most likely continue on this project to make it a full game.

skigfx 2026-10-20 14:13 ♥ 0

@appoxgames This actually reminded me of KKND. At this point, I'm not even sure that game really existed or if I just made it up in my head. :D

appoxgames 2026-10-20 14:57 ♥ 1

@skigfx After checking KKND i can see the similarities, specially the general world setting :)

isaac-hisey 2026-10-20 15:58 ♥ 0

Super great art style, love the procedural / IK animations for the robo legs. Also noticed the water SFC / shader / particles, nice touch! I only wish there was a way I could not have to use my mouse. I ended using my left hand for all the buttons and the way I had to do that made my wrist start hurting as I was playing. I love rougelites/likes, well done!

wait in the screenshot the button are different... hold up... trying again.

OOOOkay you can edit buttons and I just found a chasis that has a gyro lock (aim at nearest enemy).

Alrigth upon replaying with a better understanding any constructive feedback I had was mostly due to me not understanding all the mechanics in the game. Upgraded all my stuff to max and had a good time crushing waves of enemies!

appoxgames 2026-10-20 16:23 ♥ 1

@isaac-hisey thank you! Yeah now when you mention it perhaps i should have just skipped entirely. Would have felt better to control the robot with only left and right part of the keyboard. Thank you for the input!

Yes there is actually different controls for different legs/wheels/spiderlegs etc.

isaac-hisey 2026-10-20 16:41 ♥ 1

Yeah I tried the track instead of the spider legs and immediate reloaded the browser LOL, its a great idea don't get me wrong, my hand-eye coordination is just not quite good enough for that XD

Once I figured out the rebinding though, all issues melted away and I was able to have a really fun time!

xlarsi 2026-10-20 16:57 ♥ 1

Its been said enough before, but the default keybinds aren't too intuitive, i either had to stretch one hand or move the other off my mouse which meant I couldnt aim anymore. Other than that, once rebound it was awesome. Great graphics, fun and varied gameplay!

juanrod707 2026-10-20 17:47 ♥ 1

Huge ambition and you delivered! Congratulations on the entry. I found it a little bit confusing and challenging but in the good way.

jusaperson 2026-10-20 19:50 ♥ 1

Very cool game, I loved spamming rockets and seeing big damage numbers. I also really loved the sfx.

ajisboss 2026-10-20 19:51 ♥ 1

The explosion noise was super satisfying. Good job on the game!

avi 2026-10-20 23:42 ♥ 1

Coming back now that I have some more time:

Im a big fan of the big colorful numbers :) The movement feelt really mechanical and switching between the different legs was very apparent.

I think I wasnt the biggest fan on the energy -- but I think I understand why you need it to balance the game (quite early in the clip)

I was also confused a bit about the shop and inventory.... See at the end of this clip?

appoxgames 2026-10-21 00:40 ♥ 0

@avi Hi, that is not the shop, that is your inventory. The shop shows up after you complete the level. I know a bit confusing and i have fixed that.

I will actually do a major post jam update with a lot of improvements so stay tuned if you want to play more in the future.

Thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it!

ao-85 2026-10-21 21:36 ♥ 0

I absolutely love your concept, you came up with a great idea!

runningopenloop 2026-10-23 03:12 ♥ 0

Great game! I liked it but it was difficult because the direction that you were pointing is not the direction your shooting. -J

nikiroz 2026-10-24 17:04 ♥ 0

Cool game! Reminds me of Bedlam game from 1996!
