Had a small issue buying the first upgrade since I didn't realize you had to place it to refract the beam. My first thought was that these were all upgrades meant for the left slot. Got big "Slay the Spire" vibes. It would be cool to have some variety between fights, like the map in "Slay the Spire". That way you could manage your resources a bit smarter.
