Cool little game. At first it felt a bit weird turning around to shoot, but I got used to it quickly. By the way, is it intentional that the music fades out when you move away from the spawn point and comes back when you start heading back, or is it a bug? If it is a bug, I have no idea how that even works. 😂

Cool intro at the start of the game btw. ❤️

Short but sweet! I liked how the music faded out when you got too far from the ship -- it was a good reminder that I should probably head back lol. There were a ton of weapons but tbh once I found the boomerang orb thingy I found that everything else was worse. Great job!

I like the intro and the graphics. Though having to turn to shoot in a specific direction is a little weird. The only real feedback I have is vary the ways enemies chase you. If all of them simply head to your position they bunch up and any AOE weapon is automatically the best. An example of varied AI is Pacman where each ghost has its own chase algorithm. Adding something like that here would make the game much more engaging. I really like the weapon selection and graphics though!

Fun survivor-like. I liked the weapon wheel, it's fun trying the different ones. Audio did cut out at some point when I left the spawn area.

Nice! Quite addictive, but i think controls are a little junky. it is not very comfortable to stop, turn and attack when 10000 monsters are coming after you, hahah. maybe it would be better to move and look/attack separately, but nonetheless - great small project! Perfect for the jam imo

Cool game, I liked this one! The weapon variety was definitely the highlight for me. Nice variety, although I definitely think some are completely overpowered. The guns felt especially weak, I would have liked it if they could one shot the big guys, as their cooldown was so long. With how many enemies spawned, the AoE ones seemed the most busted. Buzzsaw Boomerang ftw! Honorable Mentions: Molotov Cocktail, and tiny dagger that you can spam basically as fast as you can press space bar.

The enemy art was also fantastic. A ton of character put into so few pixels, and also very visually distinct.

You got so much mileage out of that music loop, too. I'm glad someone mentioned music in the comments, as the first time I played there was no audio playing at all. I went back to have a listen.

Main gripe is just wanting more content, but I do know this is a game jam :) Good stuff!

Sweet little game. I like the art and a music, it has a cohesive low fi, pixel style.

It has a solid core so everything is just quality of life suggestions.

A full screen button would be be great, the weapon icon wheel is way too small to see well. Given the icon wheel, I kept thinking it would be a mouse to aim, and move to aim was a little fiddly as you have to walk toward the enemies to aim at them. Having all weapons unlocked at first seemed a little OP especially when some were clearly much better than others, unlocks or ammo could be good.

I do hope you'll consider polishing up a post jam version :)

Not bad at all! The audio seemed a little buggy, and the boomerang was kinda overpowered, but overall it was a pretty good time!
